Hi I'm Mental, I produce for almost 2 years, and as I have learned a lot by reading this forum, I wanted to join the communauty, to give it back and be able to help some, or find some help for myself. I'm into any kind of dubstep, from skream to knife party, but my favorite producer, I would say, is Butch Clancy as he can put some big big emotions in his sound. I'm using Ableton Live, Reason, and vsts. I think that's all ! :)

Hi there,

I am a serious vinyl junkie and am here looking for recommendations :D

My collection is on discogs if anyone wants to browse it, http://www.discogs.com/collection?user=m4rkw I realise it's not very big but it's not bad considering I've only been collecting for a couple of months.

Stuff I'm really digging at the moment:

King Midas Sound - Without You (specifically Tears, i love that track)
Cracks (Flux Pavillion Remix)
Clubroot
DJG
Stay+ (Dandelion / Arem)
Girl Unit - Club Rez EP
Jakwob - Here With Me (I would kill to own this on vinyl, sadly not released yet :()

If anyone has any recommendations please send stuff my way, I'm a total record junkie, in soho at least once a week spending a /lot/ on records lol

Yo DSF,

First post here, why not?

I guess there's not much to say, other than I'm really into the mellow/post-dubstep stuff that's been surfacing recently. Burial is my favourite artist - and has been for years. Every release is absolutely stunning, there's no other artist that I know of who can create such a vivid atmosphere.
Other artists I love are Synkro, Indigo, Blackmill, Phaeleh, Distance, Four Tet, Requake, and other smaller artists like Planas, Flyman, TKR, Desolate, Owsey, Sorrow, Sweetheart of Kairi (Owsey + Sorrow), Ghostek...... there's so many to name!

I also skate from time to time, and I love pork. So if you love pork you can be mah friend.
So yeah... basically just really into the chilled stuff atm. Knife Party aren't bad though, to be honest.

Until next time.

Girl, 19, live in London. Real passion is electronic music, specially old school dubstep and drum and bass. Don't even think I could tell you my favourite artists, there are so many, but stuff I like includes burial, skream, benga, mala, blawan, joy orbison, four tet, pinch, old school caspa/rusko (fabriclive etc), Icicle. Really getting into modeselektor (although not dubstep).
Wish I could produce, genuinely considering learning when I get free time.
For any Londoners, you'll get me when I say I spend my spare time at cable and fabric <3

Newcomer here. I have a crazy passion for mixing, and dubstep. The next big step for me is learning how to make it. Hoping I'll learn a few things from the best in the game!
