Lol, I once had some girl say "why are you pulling that face?"
"...That's just my face"
Really hate when random old blokes come up to you and say some shit like "Cheer up, it might never happen"
Always seems to happen in Tesco
Fuck you it might always ha--...Oh wait I'm not old yet.

The trick for dealing with that is to just lie and say that something really bad has happened, really catches them offguard and makes them feel like a right cu.nt, job done
"cheer up, might never happen"
"actually my nan just died..."
"oh.. fuck, sorry"
"yeah well... keep it to yourself next time eh?"

He'll be at the door asking for "favours" soon
Doubt it. In 2 years I've been living here he never asked for anything.

Drinking at work never ends well.
We had some champagne a couple years back and the entire office almost fell asleep.

I was just pondering that same thing. I've got a nice warm buzz about me, much better than if I'd had two pints down the restaurant...maybe it's the fizz factor that does it, or the elevated levels of carbs.
I am making the assumption that there is more carbs in a pint than a glass of wine...about 18g for a pint of lager vs. 4ish in a glass of red? Not sure how champers stacks up against those though.

Offered a £6k rise at work to stay with my business unit cos I was angling for a move to another one. After 6 months, finally getting what I just wanted in the first place.

That's still pretty good really.
Nice one.
Pity you've just shifted into a new tax bracket and the man is going to take it.

i have a test that i should be studying for, but this story is too important
i left for class & i have a class @ 9:05 & a test @ 10:10 so i was gonna bring along a study sheet to look at in the first class
i realized halfway walking to class that i left the study sheet at home, so i said fuckkkk and went back home to grab it
get home @ 9:00 so that first class is gone, but as soon as I walk in & make a cup of coffee, i hear a knock
