Oh man, this. I don't get it nearly as many of those posts from other genres. I've actually unlikely a few rappers just to get rid of them. They're always full of the kind of people who see a top-10 rappers list with names like Big Daddy Kane and Pharoahe Monch and say "where's the real hip hop like Eazy-E and Dr Dre?"

Tonight I was hassled for my love of Katy Perry's music by a few of the older guys... I'll admit, I'm a sucker for pop music and always have been! But what you didn't know is that I love The Doors, Led Zep, Biggie, Musiq, Guru, Eminem, Muse, Nero and the rest. I love it when guys ask me to put together a playlist to test my musical knowledge just to undermine me, but just know that I have been singing and performing literally before most of you could walk so next time you want to pick a musical fight and pm me your thoughts, do what you do best and beat it.
