i was scheduled to have nye new years day and the 2nd off which i have been buzzing about for weeks but while ive been away someones dad died and i know it must be devastating and i feel for him but at the same time its probably gunna mean im gunna miss out on my time off - also got mates travelling all the way from newcastle the next week to see me for 3 days before one of them moves to australia and its probably gunna fuck me over for that aswell
i feel guilty about being pissed off at this but what a bad time for this to happen

Its not that bad I guess, the jump up is a bunch of decimal bass and konichi, and its nowhere near a quarter of my buy thnak god.
The rest of what I bought it golden tho

konichi has some decent (rare but still)

most of my friends are into jump up
so basically I'm fucked for dnb/jungle/dubstep events... I've heard them say so much funny things tho they only go to jump up events/gigs
bright side is, sometimes those partys also book decent stuff so sometimes I can tag along.
They're just a bit ignorant imho, well not really ignorant (a bit) but mostly so impatient, 20-30 seconds in a tune, nothing happened? tune sucks!!

Im into dnb more than dubstep but im really picky, I just love the minimal stripped down beats, Jubei, Need for mirrors, mortem.
Jump up is for people with short attention spans yeah haha and a lot of it is sort of their brostep equivalent (labels like audioporn for example)

yeah they're hardcore bro too, at least they were, it's not cool nowadays so none of them still listen to it. Was so funny when dubstep was hot to hear the difference between now and then. Mostly sad but to me funny.
I like it hard and techy and stripped down, I kind of like all dnb except for liquid (unless it's well made).
If I have to chose genres jungle is the one (even with my very limited knowledge)

There is a lot of good liquid around, just the term gets associated with Hospital records and awful pop now, stuff dBridge is making the latest Critical release are ideal for me and Mars Recordings (I think ive been talking about them a lot lately).

Yeah I know I don't mean the hospital, I stay away from hospital a bit tbf (well not all of it ofc but (most) recent stuff)
I mean stuff like klute some old D Byrd some Bcee, Alix Perez, Utah Jazz and thats about it
most other liquid bores the crap out of me
