May have posted some of these stills before but i just remembered i uploaded a video to vimeo which was set to private all this time . Video follows below the stills.

Excuse the low resolution Video but i've not quite mastered video compression yet. The video below is a very early stage render so the current state of it is a lot more fluid and clean. (imagine the final video with more clarity than the above stills at 1400 x 900 if needed)

Using fractal noise to begin with ( and a silly amount of Fx ) I created something potentially generative by chance. running at 24-30 fps i can generate a completely different intricate pattern each frame.

Got a nice plug in for After effects too which can link sound frequencies to visual parameters so i can get different parts of the visuals dancing independently to different frequencies of a track (bass, kick , snare , hats ,atmos etc) Meaning that rather than it always being a head fuck to look at, i can get it slow down it's morphing in sync with music/tunes.

Looking to work on the project some more but i need more Ram ideally :/

Need to gather some cash to reach some summer festivals so shameless self promo time = If anyone wants to fund me to make a video or Tempo synced VJ visuals , go for it .

Just about to finish up a project on this guy, total jazz freak. Audio/visual affair, should be online by next weekend.

good work mate. would like to have seen a master colour correction filter to bring out a more nostalgic feel. perhaps some golden browns and yellows with hints of purple in the shadow, that'd be really sweet and help to tie in all the different photos (that were shot under different lighting conditions) and give them a central colour scheme. really good work for first time in Final Cut Pro - definitely keep at it! :)

what did you record the audio with? there's quite a bit of hiss, could probably do with a noise gate in there. ;)

again, good work, lots of heart in it.

Not really too big on cross processing, a lot of the time it just seems like people are trying to make their shots look like film, I tend to shoot film more often and would've if I'd had the time. Understand some of schemes are a bit inconsistent though, importing them into FCP shifted the tones a fair amount in some.

Audio was done with an M-Audio Microtrak II, first time recording audio too (or using it all really...). Tried applying low/high pass filters and a number of other things but it was removing the to warmth/lows of his voice, will check out 'noise gates'.

Cheers for the proper feedback though, appreciated.
