ok that was fucking epic. best melody, epic wobble, cool fx and nice drums - I can't fin anything bad in the first part... BUT I didn't like it after 0.49... sounds like a other song and it kinda ruins the messiah you created in the start.. but big ups man.. keep it going.

For people who post up their shit without commenting on others people work first. FOLLOW THE RULES!!!!
You guys post up your "WIPs", show some respect for the people above you. If you dont have time to comment on others work DONT POST YOUR SHIT!!!
I am new to this forum and I did take my time to look back at a bunch of tracks and actually gave some advice and comments. Dont do this "ILL COME BACK LATER AND COMMENT" bullshit, cause my track is lost 3 pages back now and I was actually looking forward to some feedback. *Thanks to those that did comment*

ogunslinger - nice solid track drums are tight good choice of basses aswell, id boost it a tad more though and cut the one at the end abit more it seems to over power the mix at my end :S
Jaydot - i think the snare needs some work it seems to stand out in the mix to much whereas the kick is abit to hidden and im liking the wonkyness to it proper darkk
ive made some changes to squishy fishy added some more bass in the intro
is there anypart of this song that stands out as wrong to you becuase im unsure of the basses please tell me if they seem to out of place

Let me know what you guys think. Good idea? Bad idea? Take the bass out? Sorry the bass seems a tad loud.

Got to run to a hair appointment, will comment on some of your guys' stuff when I get back!

@ Dj Seizure
I feel like you tied yourself to the snare on 3 business, which isn't necessarilly a bad thing, but in this case it takes awway from the using new ideas vibe. Like if this is supposed to be a cultural exploration than explore! Other than that sounded tight, high production value, good samples etc etc.
I really want to start shopping this tune to labels soon, so please nitpick all day long. I need to know if I'm being realistic or just having delusions of granduer.

Well, I said I'd be back and here I am (looking spiffy too!).
@rightontime The first 3/4 of your song need snappy / punchier snares. They sound a bit weak. Also, maybe the lead synth could come down a db or a 2? The last 1/4 of the song sounds legit.
@broxamson I like the general idea of it. The execution could use some work. There is a loottt of bass going on there, especially in the muddy 250hz range. You might want to look into EQing that bit more thoroughly. I like the idea of having little to no bass drums, but since you are going down that route, throwing in a solitary bass drum here or there could really add a lot to the track. Nice ideas.
@DJ Seizure I'm going to echo rightontime. Getting away from that snare on the 3 would be pretty cool, especially since the track really focuses on the drums. Also, the snare could come down a db or 2 and maybe a tiny (tiny!) bit more reverb on it as well. Other than that I think it sounds good. The drums in general could probably come down a db now that I listen to it again, but definitely the snare.

@neff: nice! some filth that isnt super repetitive. a little TOO filthy for my taste, but good overall. not super repetitive like alot of the stuff i hear these days. I think your snare can be moved a little more to the high end rather than the mid. Also, i think i'd like if the wobbles had less reverb, but again thats just taste. good stuff overall!
@offerman: dope. real glitchy. like i said on soundcloud, i LOVE those rimshots at the end of the 2nd bar. percussion is great. personally i'm not super down with how you resolve the first half of the melody (the 3rd note). good stuff! can't wait to hear it evolve into final boss stage.
@ogunslinger: sick! really diggin this one and am quite excited to see where ya go with it. i think this one could use a bit more repetitiveness, especially after :49. i do LIKE :49 and after, but it seems just a tad too all over the place. also i like the idea of the 8th note stabs, but i feel that that synth could be a bit more high end.
anyways, started this last night. obviously its in a VERY early fetus stage, but i'm curious to what you guys are thinking of the main idea. lots more to be added of course.

@offerman: Sounds okay, really. I like the building stream of... what, drum-stick-clicks? It's interesting.
@blazinaidan: I enjoy how the bass comes in. Your bassline is pretty progressive, really; nice work on that front. But... I think the drums could use a little work. I like the hats, but they should be a little snappier. As it is, they're almost a stream of static. Well, unless that's the effect you were going for... Overall, I like it.
@broxamson: Slow variation? Killer. Like the point from ~0:50... it puts the dub in dubstep past that mark. It's pretty enjoyable.
So... am I done?

@ogunslinger: really nice work on every synth in there. i liked the whole thing. keep working on it, make an intro, give it some more variety, a bit of a buildup and all that stuff and send me the 320
@kikaruu: damn, nice work! the track is well done so far! if it was me, i'd watch some of the frequencies, since pretty much all the synths are in the high zone, it would be nice to switch octaves here and there so it's not too much on the ears. also, the sounds that are on a lower octave in ur song don't seem as loud as the others. just my opinion on that, though, it can work without. just for example... doctor p puts a lot of high pitched sounds in his drops, but he does lower the sound here and there in the song to give it that break down to buildup again, while still keeping that level of energy going through. anyways, nice work, i can definitely see this track being really hype when it's completely finished
@jaydot: nice ideas! the mixdown is really rough though. the one thing i recommend working on is those frequencies. your kick stands out really well in the beginning and then it loses itself more and more towards the middle of the track. your synth work is nice, some very original sounds in there, but they clash with each other here and there so they get lost with the other sounds
@neff: WOW!!! just dope! some synths needs a little cleaning up here and there, but ur welllll on ur way! very well put together, and the synth/chord progression is great! what DAW do u use?
Pls gimme some feedback on this... what do u guys think?

@ jaydot, not really my style, but production value's good and it's a well written tune, and all the sounds are great. Love that rising synth at 1.20ish. Last drop is crazy in an awesome way lol.
@ ogunslinger love it, really groovy and some really slick sounds. Sounds really funky man. Cool stuff.
@Neff nothing wrong with that tune at all, basses all sound grand to me. Sounds a little messy at times but it works so I wouldn't worry about it.
@ dj seizure love the vocals and the bells in the percussion, nice and minimal too, it can be difficult to write over that style of vocal work because the scales it uses often have things like 1/4 tones and the likes, but you've done a nice job of working it all together.
@ broxamson sounds done to me man :/
@ blazinaidan one hell of a weird track there lol, but I like it a lot, serious 90s videogames vibes for some reason.
@ kikaruu I don't really have words for this one, nothing bad at all to say about it, it's very chaotic but it really works, sounds very cool and not like a lot of stuff I've heard before. Sounds good. I'd say you're done, personally I think the drums are a little lost, but with so much going on I've no idea how you could bring them out :S that is if you even wanted to.
@ CenturySam If you've a bad attitude nobody will ever give you crit. Whining like a bitch constitutes a bad attitude, learn to deal with disappointment.
@ mars, not my style, but good production value and cool sounds
@ ninthy4 nothing to say about this man, just one fucking great tune, well done.
Soundcloud I have no idea what this or even if it's good. I've lost all objectivity and I need somebody to tell me if it's shit or not. I honestly can't tell anymore. I loved it when I started work on it, but now I just can't tell. If it's not shit I'll be getting some vocals done on it. So that's why it sounds a little bare in case you're wondering. If anybody could tell me if this sucks or not I'd greatly appreciate it, I have genuinely lost all sense of what sounds good and bad lol. Need help!!!!!

Cheers everyone!
Would love som feedback on this one. Its a semiambient dubstepish thingie wich is a little bit different from the stuff I've usually been doing so far, its called "Stuck in a crowleyan dream" and contains a few samples from the great beast, Aleister Crowley, himself...
