Keep your eyes peeled for this guy Rivet, might be an alias of a known producer? who knows? whole EP is banging.
These guys are so fucking good. Two of the absolute best producers in techno atm. Shed already has legendary status and Rivet is imo one of the best "newcomers" of 2011.
Saw Rivet a couple of weeks ago. He was warming up for Ben Klock but had the better set if you ask me. I really love his take on techno, kind of machine-funk/raw as hell/bumpy rhythms. Absolutely not that static straight pounding 4x4 that Klock pushes. He's also very good though.
I feel Rivet's 2nd EP "running thick" is better than his debut. More power and distinctive style.
He defo could be a known producer operating under different alias, but his style is so special i kinda doubt it.

Heard a couple dub techno tracks, and damn those beats are nice, but it's just too long and repetitive :/
I'm sure they'd be killer in a mix.

Just got home from a night out. Was some kind of techno club.
The Dj dropped The Bells by Jeff Mills and made a transition into Ramadanman - Work Them.
Crowd went nuts.
You should try it. Tunes really work well together.
