I got bored with Odd Future very quickly. I liked "Bastard", thought "Earl" was almost brilliant, and thought some of the OFWGKTA album was dope.
Then i heard "Yonkers" and thought it was the dopest hip-hop single i had heard in fuckin ages.
Went out and bought "Goblin", listened to it a few times and threw it in the corner with the rest of my CD's that i will more than likley never listen to again. Tyler was really fuckin boring on the mic and trying to be too hard to be shocking. He done all that rape shit already, it got boring by the time he got to "Goblin".
And most of the beats kinda suck, some arent too bad, but overall not great at all.
I really havent really been bothered to check out anything from them since.
Don't mind them I guess, they're a bit different and wild but I wonder how long their hype will last?
I doubt some of them will be acting all 'crazy' in 5 years or so, and if they are then it will look cringe worthy. Nonetheless, right now they're pretty cool.
Lol, Left Brain's verse on Swag Me Out is pretty cringe worthy. But I'd say he's gotten a lot better judging from his verse in Oldies. Regardless of his rap skills, he's a brilliant producer.

It was like toned down jackass, the skits they actually wrote were way too over the top to be funny
only bits I thought were funny, was when Tyler improved some dance in his underwear that had nothing to do with the original unfunny skit, and someone got slapped in the face with mayonnaise
