Good idea. But just in case a split does happen, there needs to be a fair way to select members. Not just based on whether or not noways likes Chad or 2day likes me. It needs to be fair. I don't want it to be based on post counts either because then it would be too easy for me...

Music is subjective its down to taste and people (whatever they may say) will be biased. Theres no way to make it fair and consistant. Honestly think these ideas out before you post man.
good point guys. i didn't take that into consideration...but crosby, isnt that pretty much why we're even discussing the split? for people with more knowledge and production ability to be able to talk with eachother without inexperienced, unintelligent producers getting in the way?
They can talk to each other anyways Jr, through pms or aim and shit. That's why the split would be retarded. If you know the topic includes some retarded shit, than either answer, ignore, or flame the mofo. I think it would take away from the way people are traditionally introduced to this place. If they're slim skinned and can't take harassment, than they shouldn't even be here.

I don't entirely agree with a forum split either at this point. But just in case there is going to be a split, regardless...we gotta have a plan and hopefully one that is fair

I can't believe you guys haven't gathered yet that the reason this forum sucks is because the people who know more than beginners think too much of themselves and are elitist morons.
You guys are talking about a split, to keep the "advanced" members happy, like they're so much better than the new members.
Maybe if the people who have been here longer than most weren't condescending and pompous this forum would get better.
