I can't answer these separately, sorry. I used to listen to tons of DnB...Fracture & Neptune, Ed Rush & Optical, Metalheadz, Meat Beat Manifesto, Portishead, Massive Attack, 2562, The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, 90% of what they play on Chill XM, lots of Downtempo and Chillout. Reggae. Alternative/Outlaw Country, Acid Rock, Hip Hop, Bluegrass/American Roots Music, The Doors.

Hey, I'm a 16-year-old producer and class pianist from Chicago, IL. My setup includes; a Lenovo Touchscreen laptop running Windows 8.1, Bose QC15, Beats Studio Wireless 2013 Edition, M-Audio Axiom AIR 61, M-Audio Axiom 49, Alesis Synthstation, FL Studio 11, Ableton Live 8, Propellerheads Reason, and Presonus Studio One 2. Yes, all of my software is legitimately purchased and licensed. I use Massive, Sylenth, and many other VST instruments (excluding Nexus, I refuse to use Nexus).

I'm skilled in Filthstep production, but I prefer similar sounds to Skrux, iNexus, and EH!DE (this kind of music is what I mainly produce, filthstep on rare occasions).

How long have you been producing for? About a year and a half.

What VSTs do you favour? Massive, FM8, Sausage Fattener, Camel Crusher, Ozone 4, and a few Waves plug-ins (SSL Compressor, the L2, S1 imager, and CLA Vocals.)

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound? I would say that the styles of Krewella, Ry Legit, and Skrillex most clearly reflect my sound.

Influences: Skrillex and Krewella are my two biggest influences in dubstep. In terms of my influences in all music, I grew up listening to Green Day, Breaking Benjamin, Foo Fighters, Dream Theater, and a lot of metal artists like Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch, Slipknot, etc.... I also appreciate the musical complexities groups like Animals As Leaders and Blotted Science put into their music. I also grew up listening to classical music because of my classical training on the piano (an instrument I have been playing for eleven years), so I get a lot of my melodic influences from Baroque and Classical era composers.
