Sure he's less shiny, but he'll provide a stability to United.

And Mourinho plays shit football.
yeah because Moyes plays pass and move football, just hoof it up to Fellaini or Anichebe, he's a decent coach and works well with what he has but they could get pretty much anyone bar pep in. No chance Moyes would of got this united to 90 points this season.
neither would mourinho

but moyes n fergie are good pals, moyes would be a lot more accomodating of fergie's input which lets be honest, is going to be important in keeping us in a decent position until he settles into the club and the players adapt to his coaching

its been known for years it'll be moyes, pretty much no doubt it would be him, anyone thinking its mourinho has been duped by the bookies

Agree with that, Fergie will still have a big input at the club and thats why Mourinho wouldn't work there, not whilst fergie is still around.

I'm just disagreeing with him saying Moyes plays better football than Mourinho, he's more counter attack whilst Moyes is more stoke style..

yea moyes works with what he has as does mourinho, its just mourinho has had superstars at his disposal for the last 10 years whereas moyes hasn't

He's still had decent players to work with and no trophy in all these years, just look at swansea dont need money to win a trophy, they were almost out of business not that long ago. He's to good for Everton but not good enough for united, either way im not arsed cos I dont support either. Gonna be interesting season next season.

Manchester United appoints new manager

• Manchester United Board unanimously approves the recommendation of Sir Alex Ferguson
• Moyes to take the helm on 1 July
• Committed to long-term in 6 year deal
6 year contract...

I'm actually quite looking forward to what he brings to the club.No doubt it will be bumpy for a season or two but i think he is easily one of the better managers in the prem even without silverwear.Everton are always a difficult team to play against and the do play a very appealing style of football.
I feel with the money there to spend and the backing from the dressing room he is going to be the right appointment for united.Shitty and liverfool fans are laughing now but lets have a look first and see who's laughing at the end of the season aye ;)

I don't see why Liverpool fans are laughing, Everton finished higher than them last year and are looking to do the same this year.

Who's going to be Everton manager next season then?

We're laughing because it weakens two teams we detest.

In 50 away games against Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool he's won 0. That's 0 in 11 seasons. Now Chelsea Arsenal and Manchester United are big teams but I'd struggle to find another club that has spent 11 years in the top flight and not beaten any of them away but we've been shit for a good part of that and he's not even beaten us.

Liverpool fans will be hoping that Everton collapse with Moyes gone, like Charlton when Curbishley left

Is Curbishley still on this planet? haven't heard anything about him for years!

He gets linked with pretty much every job that comes up. Think Neil Lennon will probably go to Everton

smart move for everton would be Laudrup. Really impressed with him, think he will be a top 10 european manager in the not so distant future

If Laudrup has another good season with Swansea he could be the perfect replacent for Wenger next year

My thoughts exactly.

He might want to stay at Swansea though, a little bit of investment and I could see them getting an Europa League spot next year.

maybe Fabio for Moyes' replacement?

No chance Laudrup would goto Everton, they couldn't afford to get him anyway by all accounts him and his family are fairly settled at Swansea.

David Moyes was one of the highest paid managers in the premiership and one of the few managers who were the top earners at his club.

They could make the same available for Laudrup and double his wages.

The would still have to buy out his contract at Swansea, he signed a new one in March and its reported it would cost £10m to buy him out.
