MK5G are meant to be the tits. MK2s are good enough but there are lots of subtle improvements with the MK5G
i've been tempted to upgrade from my MK2s for a while but not entirely convinced it's worth it. there's loads of mods you can do to standard technics to make them shit hot. there's pretty much an industry built out of modifying technics for crazy audiophiles
Just got home with them, they are so sexy. Got a different glossy paint on them as well

made a new podcast called 'influence hour'. basically a selection of random tunes that influence big iron, and a special jungle mix from one of our guys in the latter half of the show. enjoy!
