I raised the tt's and mixer with carrying cases, makes the world of difference, used to get a sore back after an hour

no, can record to audacity w/ the usb cable. Otherwise it's just a regular mixer w/ phono or line inputs. At least as far as I'm aware...

everytime i recorded w/ the usb cord on my numark tt it had a high pitch whining noise which was unbearable 2 me

mightve needed grounded or something?

i just use my mixer now b/c it has 2 outputs & no high pitch noise

I haven't done anything to ground any of my equipment, and there hasn't been any problem. I'm on a fairly budget setup atm though.

new minimal setup at my new place,
dell xps, yamahas and a little akai lpk midi kpyboard. technics plugged in for sampling via cheapo numark m-101 mixer.
beyerdynamic dt-880 pros for the night work and detail checking.
