My manager has been acting really weirdly lately, she really doesn't get along with another woman who works here (everyone else likes her), the other woman came back from emergency leave to find a letter on her desk with a bit of paper saying 'bitch' inside... all employers we're called into a meeting which we thought was about the project but it was about the note, and she's said a few snide things lately like 'I can fire and hire as I please', little bitchy nottoosuttle threats

sounds like she will crash and burn soon..

I know its hard to feel sympathy for some people who act like assholes but a lot of the time people have psychological issues and can't really help the way they act.

Not that she shouldn't lose her job or be reprimanded over that stuff, maybe she will learn a lesson from it and seek some professional help.

I just got called into the plant director's office and given a final written warning for internet abuse again. Fuck. I should go on a rant and blame the decline of dubstep. But I guess this means I'll be here less. Time to start making techno.

What were you looking at? The pornos?

bandwidth abuse i'd guess. On dsf, soundcloud and downloading mixes. Probably a couple gigs.

don't forget, this is africa. Bandwidth can still be very expensive here. But imo it's more about slowjng things down for others i guess. Pretty lame considering what i do here. No excuses though.

Ordered Are You Ready!? and White Label Classics like 3 weeks ago from Redeye and they still aren't here. The Rude Kid cd is on back order, but I at least expected the Ruff Sqwad comp to be here by now :/

yeh, stopped posting to get essays done and not got back into the swing of posting (tweeted the whole time tho), final year is deep

concentration/energy has been shot this past week and can hardly get any reading done, really pissing me off tbh. the difference is amazing, can be sitting here reading a sentence over and over and have no idea what it says ugh

I seem to have forgotten pretty much everything I learnt (which is really less than nothing) about mixing and seem to now just smash one song in after another. The most recent one that im listening back to, its not even mixed but intros/outros overlapped and badly at that.
