They probably do if you're from one of the Gulf countries, I think banks are legally allowed to close your account, its probably in some small print somewhere and I don't think they will tell him they closed it because of his nationality on paper.

Yeah the letter was just saying they are closing his account, they told him why in person, so fucked up, he's already with Dubai Islamic Bank, that should be fine
