Re: Non payment, if you know any lawyers just get them to write up an official looking notice about making the payment within x amount of days or taking it to court etc. Worked for my mate once

you shouldnt feel guilty about taking legal action to get back what's yours, especially when it's a pretty substantial amount of money like that. i mean you've given him the chance to repay you for a while now, you are more than entitled to step up your efforts. if he takes it personally then he's kind of a shit friend anyways to be honest

Yeah I'm not really sure why I'm still referring to him as a friend to be honest, guys been a total ballbag.

Gonna get the legal shit sorted today I think, I've had enough of this shit!

No pushy travel nurse, I dont want a £140 Rabbies Jab. yes Im going "back packing" but that does not mean Ill be sleeping in the mountains of Tibet.. Paying £140 for an extra 8-12 hours to reach a medical facility is not really something Id jump at.

My gf also paid £15 for 100 maliria tablets, My nurse quotes me at "around £20 for 50" . Fuck off am I paying £40 for what my gf pays £15!?

Rabies is still quite common in some places in Europe, and very common across Asia, Africa & South America. It's a fucking nasty one, I wouldn't take chances TBH mate.

I'd be dead now had I not had my rabies injections before going to thailand, where I was staying in a nice hostel and got bitten walking the street from nowhere. It's worth getting pal

Yeah I was asked about it for India aswell.
Rabbies you get 24 hours to get to a hospital, with tha jab you get an extra 8-12
If it was say £40 I would but £140 is a joke especially as its not actually imunising you!

Now ive said all this i will no doubt step off the plane in srilanka and get smaked in the face by a feral rabbies infested bat.

Edit: you what? story pls

sure, you probably won't need it, but i dont think you want to be in the position where you're saying "wow, if only i had paid 140 pounds for that shot..."

still, 140 pounds is absurd!

Swear i've told this before But I got bitten by a random street dog in thailand on day 1 of my 6 week gap year, despite having the pre and post exposure prophylaxis I was advised to fly home (£5000 quid down the drain cos insurance companies are wankers) and was quarantined when I got home to be monitored. Was told had I not had the pre exporsure prohpylaxis I probably would've got rabies, which is pretty much a death sentence

Yikes!
What pisses me off is that you could get it done in thailand for about $20.
