Been really struggling to sleep for more than about 6 hours for the past few weeks. I'll go to be bed about 1-2 and I'll sleep through till about 7 when I'll wake up and can't go back to sleep. I don't feel tired when I wake up, in fact I feel fairly fresh so It's not really a problem but I have no reason to get up and don't know what to do with myself. So kinda just fidget in bed staring at the back of my missus' head.

I've got nearly two weeks off work, I hope this isn't going to happen for whole time I have off. It's a bit more annoying that my girlfriend could sleep for Britain, she can regularly pull 12 hours of sleep and falls asleep at the drop of a hat.

I reckon it's because I work night shifts and often wake up after about 5 hours of sleep during the day and always changing my sleep routine.

Getting in at 7, going to bed at 8 then getting up at 2, for my bone idle housemate to get up at half 2 and complain that she's tired annoys me too.

And I really want to mess about on the decks but can't because I'll sure to infuriate someone.

you could give some melatonin a try
