I am so lost. What are you guys talking about? A stargate in Yemen? That's underwater? There's footage of it on youtube?
Not even trying to be a skepticfag.

all the navy from nato or whoever that is supposed to be dealing with the pirate problem in that area have mainly congregated around a supposed stargate, along with navy from pretty much the entire world

Yeah, he's so alternative. You have to read the TELEGRAPH* to know about him!!
Next?
*for our American cousins - the Telegraph is the UK's 'poshest' mainstream paper. Aimed at the upper middle classes; lots of adverts for investments and luxury cars. Boris Johnson, the London Mayor, has a regular column.

do talk when you have a media coverage of his points of view and arguments, and that's any bit proportional with his fanbase
It's really not hard to find out about him, he's never far from the medias lips:
Every curious teenager or 6th former has read this sort of conspiracy stuff for as long as I can remember. Most people grow out of it. In the 19th Century millions saw prisms as evidence of God; now we can explain prisms, so people look for other things to make mystical. It's all very predictable human behaviour.
I'm sure some very outlandish things may be true about the universe... but I'm only going to say "yes, I believe" to people who can demonstrate proof.
aw cmon man 'most people grow out of it??'
that's bordering on calling me childish!

such a huge assumption to make about someone...just because you have your eyes closed doesn't mean people awake are nutters...
If you guys really can't see any of this stuff all around us then you cannot be even slightly open minded so don't even try saying you are
Since that was kinda almost directly after my post, I hope that it wasn't in response to what I wrote. Because I did not refer to anyone as a nutter in my post. I just asked for proof and that they treat others as they expect to be treated, ie if they want others to respect their beliefs, whether it's aliens, reptilians, science or religion, then they should allow others that same degree of respect in their beliefs. Which in this particular case is "mainstream" science.
If, however, it was in response to what I wrote, all I can respond to that is to ask you to read again what I wrote and consider what I have ascribed to zealotry and then self-examine your statements because they demonstrate the exact situation that I have described in my post.
magma wrote:What got me involved was the repeated idea that people who don't believe are either stupid or haven't studied the information. We have. We just didn't buy it. I'm totally happy for all you guys if you do believe it and it improves your life (I feel similar to how I do towards those that find happiness in Buddhism or Christianity), honestly it's absolutely your business and not mine.... but if you post arrogance like this in public, you're going to get replies:
What Magma said. A certain subset of people do not believe in the conventional view. That is absolutely fine by me. I have absolutely no problem with that. Until, that is, I feel that I am practically being preached to about the TRUTH and am being insistently told that I am blind. Yet when I try to reason with said people and explain why my view is such, it gets shouted down and I'm told I'm being accusatory and blind. Why am I not allowed to hold on to my beliefs in CONVENTIONAL science when you expect to be allowed to expouse on your views? I never even get derogatory, abusive or condescending when presenting my viewpoints. Unlike some of the more hardcore zealots about the HIDDEN TRUTH.
I will however agree that Parson's philosophical asides are very nicely poetic and strike a chord with my inner being.
The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum - even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there's free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate. "
Noam Chomsky
This particular quote however may suggest that:
a) I'm part of the controlling establishment
b) I'm a Reptillian
*shrug* alright, I'm a fucking Reptillian or Reptillian fanboy. So what?
Anyway. What the fucking fuck does all this have to do with our world possibly being a giant fucking hologram???? Allow the fucking science geeks their time to discuss their fucking science for fuck's sake. It's not as though we invade conspiracy theory threads with science crap.

Yeah. He also pulls that shit about forgetting certain things which is pretty convenient for someone talking nonsense.

Psychically linking people with dolphins in order to prolong travel is a hilarious idea.
The 'underwear bomber' had me chuckling.
Chris Morris would like this guy.
