I'm getting so many ideas lately, but none of them turn into full songs... I just end up putting stupid Engineer samples over them. Any tips for finishing old song ideas, and actually getting to work? I have soooo many rough tracks that I loved for the longest time, but it seems I've been have writer's ADD. :/
streetxlite -- I love your ability to build energy and carry the listener along. Your sound design is polished and you did well to get volume without limiting the hell out of your track. Great work.
Hexa-dB -- Mental bass. Is it layered/resampled or coming straight out of a synth? That's impressive.
JemGrover -- Liking the deep feel of this one. Great ambience and a clean mix down overall. Would be interested to see where you go with the arrangement on this one to tell the listener a bit more of a story.
JayDot -- Who pissed you off right before you wrote this one? Work on your leveling and you've got a mental tune!
Here's one I'm working on. Work entitled 'Meh' until I think of something to name it. But I kinda like that name anyway.
Would really appreciate some feedback on this one!! Cheers in advance.

Bloody hell i have missed this months tune! Too busy running my business!! Sat down for a couple of hours last night and come up with this intro, wanted a few thoughts if you dont mind
Needs some work with regards to the mixdown/mastering but on production value alone I'd like feedback please? Second edit of this track btw.
@Hakka: Check your soundcloud man.

Remokari: Not bad at all. I know it's unfinished and a bit rough, but I like your drums. I think maybe I overcompress mine. need to look into that. You touched on what's going on in your tracks, i.e., the whole "producer ADD" bit. Just sit on something. Find one you're infatuated with and just play it over and over and over, adding bits where bits need to go. You know this though, I'm sure. Good work, for real.
WeedCali: the highs in beginning are a touch sharp, but that's just personal opinion and maybe my shit headphones. Nice bass sound, though it's a bit simple. Fill it out man, I think you're onto something.
Tylerblue: Meh has got such a nice drop. Wall of sound. Drum sounds are nice, but some switchups are in order, IMHO. It's unfinished, so whatdya expect, right? Really liking the climbing bass, spanning the octaves. Like you said in your feedback, tell us the next part of the story, I'm interested in where it's going from here.
This here is one I've not done any final EQ'ing on, nor mastering/mixing magic. I also plan on dropping a vocal/spoken bit during the really ethereal phase of the track, but haven't found anything that'll do it justice yet. May just make my own. Anyways, Break it down for me folks. I wanna hear whatever you have to say about this one. Made it in Ableton. I feel like it needs a third drop after the part where it ends now, maybe in double time=actual 140. So yeah, lemme have it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks
The bass on the first section started as a Korg Prophecy sound (I think it was a preset "AhaYahYah" or something) with some tweaking of controllers while I recorded it, then it was bitcrushed, a bit of Logics ModDelay (just a short delay with lots of feedback to make it a bit more metallic) and some of Logic's AutoFilter (LFO synced). Then automation to change the LFO speed, cutoff and the odd bit of bitcrush-sweep. The screechy bass when the second drop comes in is an ES2 sound, it started with a preset called something "Vader" I think (I can't remember how much I changed it) put through a guitar amp sim & stuff. And there's also some bits from a synth called "FreeAlpha" that came with Computer Music mag

Cheers man, keep up the good work. I'll have a go with that delay feedback technique -- haven't done that before.

@TylerBlue: Liking the progressive bass sound like someone else said and also that fresh-sounding clappy snare. Nice synth work too.

@ Jaydot: Some very nice ideas there. Vocal kicks ass. I like the vibe! But i think the drums miss some slap.
Maybe it was intended that way, but i'd give some more punch to the kick.
On the other hand, i'm just a n00b, so i could be wrong
Overall: quite some potential.
@ Hakka: Great instrumentals! Finish it!! Can't wait to hear the (undoubtably) massive drop.
@ Grime Syndicate: Very very nice! reminds of some video game music. Bass kicks ass! Personally, i'd
give the bass some more reverb, but that's taste i guess. Overall great tune so far.
Here's my wippy (still very rough), would love some feedback Soundcloud

@Traficz: Loving that bass, maybe layer another oscillator and play around with the settings for more depth/harmonics? It's coming along nicely though, big up to you.
