@ echoi - Love the drum pattern man... fucking great bro.
@raincoatdisaster - Not a fan of the vocals, just something about them.... probably just me though. I like the overall vibes though man. The bass seems a bit low in the mix though, doesn't really stand out. Also sounds a bit rough. Smooth transitions, I'm liking it.
@ Debaser - Thanks for the feedback man... Your tune is sounding goood... Interesting bass and I like the scratchy noise, does get a bit repetitive though. I'm also diggin the high kinda water drop noises.. it goes good with the bassline.

vv Another Update (Sorry! :]) Changed the bassline again + other tweaks/adjustments vv

Echoi wrote:@ Johnst (lika da bass) Pretty sick little number there so far, wasnt feeling the vocal effect just before the drop, got too used to hearing that about 6 years ago. Thought the drums werent clean enough either, im all for a bit of gritty drum, but they just sound like they've come straight from a poorly recorded loop, i like the arrangement though. Great bass sounds.
yeah, the vocal thing was just my moment of excitement at getting a text to speech program... :6: . i'm terms of the drums, i'll be the first to admit i struggle. i love programming beats, but my headphones are such shit quality that i can never seem to understand how to eq them correctly. maybe they're over compressed?... or are they just shitty samples? i got them from jungle warfare, which i thought were decent, but thank you for pointing that out, i'll make sure to put work into them. :D

alexvont12: Thanks : )
Johnst: thx for feedback, it is very very helpful : ). you said that bass is too "in your face", you mean subbass or midrange? : )

When it comes to your tune. I like the whole vibe, midrange sounds very interesting, and a bit out of the box. I dont like hats, and snare should be better. Try to add some movement, panning, slighy pitching and velocity variations to hats to achieve that groovy feeling : ). So, work on percussion, midrange is great. Keep it up!

Please feedback for track in my sig : ).

@-boring - i like the bass and how it rises into each note, but it gets a bit too repetitive for me, not sure if this is a particular style you are going for though

@matthew-B - would like to hear those keys a bit higher in the mix in the intro, they sound pretty good. Is ther no bass in your mix though? im listening through some powerful speakers and cant hear any. I like the drums!

@Nicorisone - nice and uptempo, i kinda like it even if it was a half hearted attmept. Particularly like the arpeggio style thing going on about half way. Could do with a break somewhere and a nice big fat drop :)

Heres my new one, 2nd in 2 weeks after the positive feedback from you guys over the Haka track :) Its not christmassy in the slightest, and might be quite differnet to what most of you listen to, but please listen from a production POV. im not quite sure what to do on it next to be honest. Is it worth continuing???

EDIT - It has no bass as such yet, is there scope for a wobble? P.s sorry if it offends any strict anti metallers :5:

So near enough finished this,
Not sure if I should add anything or not, a bit of work on the mixing could still be done I think, but im getting there :)

Soundcloud

Main thing I changed with it was during the dubstep sections of the track, the bass is a bit more evil I think! :)

@Homenoiserecord
I like it,
I think there probs is a place for a wobble, a nice slow subtle one tho! Liking the vibe of it. Very similar to my own sorta style I want to go in!

@Matthew-B
Again, nice vibe on this. Some of the more ambient sounds that come off this are pretty epic!

@Kes-Es
Loving this! Absolutely spooky Its kinda chilled out, sommit to sit and listen too but still something that loud enough would get me tempted too move!

thanks man. yeah, i can't seem to make the hats sound good... they just sound stupid every time i change them or try something different. :u: good ideas though in regards to the hats, i'll keep workin at them!

when i said bass i was referring to the midrange. it just seems that everything else is floating around in a dark 3d void but the bass is like a 2d fire in your face. if that makes any sense... :6: . i'm thinking that if you cut out the harsher frequencies with eq and put some reverb on it to slide it back a little and make it fit in with the rest of your tune. is the one in your sig a newer version? i'm in the library and i don't have headphones with me so i won't be able to listen till later. thanks for the feedback though, i'll check yours out when i get home. :W:

Hi
Just messed around with some ideas, trying to integrate some electro stuff into dubstep beats
So, any feedback is appreciated. The drums, the bass, synths, overall sound etc.

Soundcloud

Forgot to mention, it's a wobbless one :))
Sorry for poor English, hope you're understanding me well
Thanks in advance

@Kim : Nice and crisp sounds very deadmau-esq (Don't take that as an insult, you can knock his tunes but his production is top quality). Overall a very good start, can't really criticise at all.

@Eze : Its hard to say anything about this because Im not entirely sure what you're going for, everything sounds high-cut and I think possibily thats taking away alot of the dynamics of what could be a decent production.

Heres something I've got floating around at the moment in the DAW.

@ezeckial - like the style, but i feel it needs more presence. not sure what though.
@HomeNoiseRecord - liking it :D it's metal but somehow really chill at the same time. keep it up!
@alexvont12 - i think there might be too much reverb. other than that, pretty tight :D

This is a concept I began a few days ago. criticism/harassment warmly welcomed :D

@ snellvillian - Damn fucking good for a first track, one thing I would work on is the transition at 1.15, it just kinda drops into a slower pace, but I like it the other way around, like at 1.38. It doesn't really sound bad, just abrupt. Feeling the rest of track, nice work! :W:
@ homenoiserecord - I liking it man... I think an epic twist would be to go into a dubstep breakdown right after the break at the end... Might be difficult to match the song though... Just keep working with it and you'll end up with a nice unique song at the least :D

Dope Tune man, I like it quite a bit. I feel like the mix is really treble-ey and I feel like you should cut some of that first drop or switch it with the half time part, It's a nice Idea but you've really built up for something huge to drop and I feel like the half time part fits the bill better.

I really enjoyed your bass sounds and your drum programming is off the chain. No real critique other than that though, Great work, Will look out for the finished version.
