the hype came because people heard the tune in mixes and went sick for the tune which was by an unamed artist...

i raved about it as soon as i heard it, not because i didnt know who made it, the only reason i found out it was an 'unknown' was because i raved about the tune

yeah i mean i like the tune, but if it wasnt for the fact of threads by people asking about it, i probably wouldnt like it that much, like id heard it in mixes but never took much notice, knock knock is better imo

If I ever had any doubts about this tune they ended at DMZ last week. Sounded dope as fuck, crowd was vibing off it.

i disagree, knock knock is quite good

but in sicko cell when the subs drop you cant help but move, it's a really fun song to dance to, so many parts that make you want to bust a move

Im not saying its a bad tune, its alright but as far as this style goes i rate alot of other tunes more highly i.e. anything Addison Groove, Boddika or Ramadanman has done. I can understand that people like it but you cant tell me this tune would have got this much attention, this thread, on twitter, facebook, blogs, fact mag etc etc. if it hadnt been this whole unknown artist thing? And because of all the hype, it creates a perception that its getting this attention cause of how good the tune is whereas in actual fact its because of the anonymity.

This also leads to the 'cool because people are talking about it' crowd absolutely loving it. Its clever marketing for sure, whether intentionally or not.

Yeah there was a Pearson Sound refix of this on Boiler Room. Was really good...tune didn't go anywhere but it went places, if you get me!!

the refix by pearson is sick, needs a release. samples he used are mad.
