I started one recently cause this thread made it look fun. Will post any random bollocks I feel like when I got some time (busy for a week or two)

Might try post up the odd useful thing about production or what ever.

Not really even that bothered about making money or anything though that might be nice

IMPORTANT:

For all those involved, make sure your adSense is verified through the dashboard.

This includes four things:

-Tax information
-Verifying your phone number (they call you and give you a code)
-Address verification (they mail you a PIN that you input)
-Choose your payment method (use direct deposit if you have a bank account, it's fast and hassle free)

before you do these things, your money will be "ON HOLD" forever.


I completed all but one (haven't received my PIN yet) in about half an hour. Get to it, chaps

Like I said earlier, I really do live like 25 minutes away from their headquarters, then again, who knows where this is actually coming from. But I bet somewhere really local. I think I was pretty late in requesting a pin and what not too.

you had to request a PIN? mine said it was automatically mailed 3-5 days after 3/16/11...

i'm in the same state so it surely wouldnt take more than a couple of days

If I recall, I had to do those other steps, like the phone call and what not, then the pin was generated and mailed. Very well could be mistaken.

i'll have another look... definitely gonna give them a call if it doesn't come in the next couple of days...

either way, let this convo between noways and i to be a reminder to sort out the requirements to get your payments off hold, otherwise you'll probably be another 2 months from getting paid

It comes up for me on the adsense page (i'm UK). Pretty obvious too as it's big and red and says 'YOUR PAYMENTS ARE ON HOLD' ..or similar. Seems pretty simple to fill out the details. My PIN was generated yesterday apparently so will be sent within 2 and 5 days, and then i guess it's the same again til I receive it. I've done all the other things they've asked. They need to verify your bank account and phone number. Nothing about tax though...?

I've feeling it's because I haven't earned enough money yet. Still under £5 and that stops me from picking a payment method. I'll wait and see I suppose.

Same, mines at about 8.5%, could do with some follows too.
