i dont know how im gonna pull this one off..lol. i need some advice. how do i go about making sure 2 different sub tracks doesnt overlap? i tried sidechaining gates to the each sub but the results werent very good.

as in 2 different sounds. they only overlap when the tail of one interferes with the other. but it isnt on the the same midi track. so it doesnt cut off the other sub's tail when it comes in, know what i mean?

i know what you mean, my guess would have been side chain it but you already tried that, try just messing with adsr's release and attack

infinite:1 side-chained compression did the trick. i was just using shit settings, my b

edit: the updates on the song are complete, heres the finished work if anyone wants to check it out. by far my best tune yet imo. Soundcloud

Immerse, wouldn't you just make a shorter release? Or possibly a longer attack? I think your problem is in your envelope adsr
