Yup, I've just been getting into this stuff and find it so addicting. I find that particular song a bit too fast, but anything less than 150 bpm is alright for me

If there was one branch of sound that was like dungeon in that a lot of tunes sounded the same it'd be that sort of stuff

no but that stuff in particular all has a very similar sonic pallete and structure. I do have records like that butility still it does all sound the same

IMO, this argument doesn't stand in the information age. You could go and find out literally every garage release of the 90's/00's right now.

I get the feeling that the backpack wearing, 5 panel cap toting clueless hipsters at endless "bass" nights are the 10's equivalent of the suited up, sunglasses-at-night, champagne drinkers that made people turn away from the garage scene. Maybe some producers will turn away from the current scene if they can resist the lure of £££, and we might see new, INTERESTING scenes pop up, in the same way grime and dubstep did. Or maybe it's impossible now, because endless blogs and music sites will pick up on something the moment there's a night that more than 2 people turn up to.

Enjoy it all you want, I just don't think it's a valid point, that's all. I like a couple of disclosure tunes, I just don't like it because I was too young for the garage scene when it was around. It's not even a retread, most disclosure tunes sound nothing like UKG, the future garage dudes get a sound that's a lot closer.
