an intro mate? lol well if you aint already. erm just get that bassline going a bit more maybe swicth it up make it bit more prominent, perhaps use what you got then build it up to a little drop and have the bassline come harder and just switch it up.

most of these are probably long done by now. but im bored on sunday and im sick as balls so here goes. im such a tard. if you're wondering whether your track is in here, it probably is. if you're mad because you don't want to skim through all this, use the search function. it comes with every browser. Ctrl+f usually.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

deadlyhabit_drunkdrummer

drums sound a bit chintzy for my tastes. bass kills but it seems aimless. comes in hard but doesnt establish a groove i can really get with.

frogs

drum line is real nice, wondering where the bass is though. seems like with that drum line my sub should have exploded by now. something real dirty and dark would do it up quite nicely.

cool runnings

loving the beepiness of it. seems like an intro for madness. TURN DE BASS UP MAN. compression is your friend. there is some good stuff here, just needs to be polished.

Dubstep03

oh my GAWD. this comes in so hard. i was just getting into my "Skip De Rope" when it just cut off so abruptly. nice fucking work. i want that bass sample. so bad.

listening to noises

seems like an idea but theres almost so little there to comment on. other than decent percussion sequencing, its a bit demure and shy for me.

martello clip
love the loudness, and the overall sound. you know production. that dub kickoff got my attention quick. the bassline has a bit too much top end, not enough sub. i dont mind wobble but if its gonna wobble i wanna see my speaker cones vibrating--HARD.

disco nuttah - in the sleeve _demo snippet_

was about to turn it off, thought it was all talking and drums. then that bass came in.
that bass is evil. so evil. nice work. a bit repetetive even in that short clip, change it up, make it bounce. drums are damn near perfect for the track. alot of tight snare samples annoy me, yours was real nice. maybe a bit of reverb on the snare hit, make it resonate, stick in your memory.

imortal fiends
liking the reverby percussion, hits really nice like. its got this whomp bass in there that made me think my neighbor was telling me to quiet down. real relaxed, whole track overall could stand to be a bit louder but whatever, thats minor.

Ghost Riddim

i dont think this is dubstep. more like 2-step.

khusara swellings

hey look. its easy listening house music.

Lienne - Corners

whole thing is a bit atonal, none of the notes really work with each other. good try but keep at it.

dub fiend - syncopath

comes in kind of like a ringtone i love it. the first build and a single bass hit, i thought thats where it was coming in, fooled me. when the bass does come in, damn. so nice. it's simple but its quite entertaining. then at like 1:52 i fucking lost it. even as a rough track its top choice dubstep my friend.

danoldboy - dub

seems like a long intro, doesnt really do anything. waiting for more.

The Wiggle Baron - Bajoly

your sample choice is nice i guess, there is no hit to the whole thing though. it just kind of sits at mid range in my monitors. when the harder kick came in i turned it up all the way hoping it would at least be good techno, but it didnt really do anything. then it stopped.

futures untold - One Moment

cheers to the air raid siren. makes you want something real dramatic to happen. a little fast for dubstep, almost hitting dnb speeds. the atmospheric feel of it is nice but overall kept wanting some sub in there.

DJ Vision - Warpedbassnew

nice little tune. the bassline was a bit simple but technically it works. im partial to beeps so you got me there.

Serox - Document 6

comes in with authority. keep working on it. its got serious potential for 27 seconds.

Zillion - Live Free

epic. hella reverb and i like it. love what the bass is doing. listened to it twice. i think that higher part of the bass line melted my face. becoming one of my favorite in this thread so far.

Legendary - Jan - 23 - 09 -01

The drips are just great. the drums keep the head nodding and keep the track moving quite well, even without the bass line. i want to hear this one when it's done. you pretty much called the chords being out of scale but i can see that getting fixed so easily.

Chris H - Mind Funk

it was an interesting listen. at 1:08 when that craziness comes in i just wanted some bass though. something grinding that followed the rhythm of that synth. otherwise its got some good points, like the minimalness of the percussion.

Rendr - The Deepest Cut

its a bit ambient for my taste but thats pure opinion. also, the drums are really repetetive which can be okay, but the samples you use arent tasty enough to make it work for me. i have the attention span of a 5 year old though, so take all that with a grain of salt.

darkmatterUK - confess your sins

nice and dark. that first synth is so nice . i love the way it jumps around. the piano works really well with the whole track. removes some of the overall evilness but keeps it dark. awesome. makes me think of assaulting some alien space vessel when that distorted vocal comes in. nice work.

antloked - i know you think

real dubby, liking it. the reverb keeps it big but its not overpowering. the patch you chose for the lead melody fits well. thumbs up all around. i can offer nothing to improve this one.

darkmatterUK - infested

good choices for most of it i think. the snare seems a bit hight pitched for the feel of the track though. pitch it down a bit, throw a bit of chorus and some reverb on it, i think it would hit with authority. at 3:15 when that synth gets all crazy my sub should be shaking the place. it wasn't, what's with that?

q-steppa - 7th portal of agamenmon

wish it did more. like the general feel of it, just wish there was more variety in there.

pk - masterdon

the drums. oh shite i need new pants. thats a tasty loop. way to tickle that sub too. this is an example of a track that is repetetive but is good enough that it totally works.

epoch - 2084

whoah. wobble my face off. theres not much there but screw it, you don't need much with that destruction going on.

Lowpass - Mix01

nice wobble once again. snare is nice. only problem with this track is that ride cymbal. sounds really synthetic.

robsmith86 - Busta Dub

that busta rhymes sample is glitched up real nice. loving it. as dirty as that bass is, and as dark as the track is i would put just the smallest amount of distortion on that multiple snare hit. otherwise it's killing it.

B.P Music - Rastafari

hahahaha. totally caught me off guard. this is really good. all the drums sound nice and up close. everything is mixed really cleanly. and 1:22-1:24 is fucking beautiful. then i almost cried. yeah i said it. i almost fucking cried. im listening to this tomorrow morning when i wake up so i can rage against the day. top fucking choice.

Einum Of - Vofu Dub

you: "will prolly never finish this.." ummm why? its got some serious potential. the intro has some awesome sounds in it. whole thing just needs a bit more love. polish this track up and it will shine.

Slug85 - PROGRESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

that was 27 seconds of DEEP. keep it going. what's coming next?

unilynx - Another time

you used the same line throughout the song, but there was so much variation it really kept my attention. nice little grinder.

TheRZBM - Rood Buoy

it's really hardcore which keeps it interesting for a while then it gets repetetive. switching up bass sounds, playing around in the higher range, changing the beat up, all make a dubstep track exciting to listen to.

unilynx - ******

sounds like its in a metal box, a bit too much compression? hard limited out the box? not sure but while its loud, there is no bass to it. i like the idea though. nice progression throughout the track.

epoch - epochfrayedendsremix

11 seconds? sounds hard, but not sure, wasn't enough to tell.

collective - remiggle

i like it. the sounds you use aren't stereotypical. while its a bit more ambient than most it doesnt get boring, your sounds are well chosen and help to make the whole thing great. just the right amount of reverb. well done.

DJAdaptNC - Ultima Luna feat Nomad

thumbs up duke. nice tune.. thats all i got.

Lowpass - Dubstep04_02

i turned it up. that made all the difference. comes in nice and slow but when it does, you aren't disappointed. at first i was mad when you said 32 bar intro but, i got over it. i wanna hear the finished track.

The_Dza88 - Mary Had Remix

dying over here. :lol

keyz - starsky

drums work really well. the organs you use seems like they need to be the bassline though. also they were a bit loud for the mix. it moves really well though, kept my head bouncing, even with no bass to it.

Karmacazee - sidechain

everything is so reserved and shy. turn it up man! even at max volume my krk's couldnt make it boom.

Vaiken - tribe

really like that background, delayed synth. by the time the bass came it i was already hooked. i think even if you dont finish the last 10%, screw it, call it done. its great as it is.

ImMortal - Tester

comes in so hard. i wanna kick something. hardest 26 seconds ever. keep at it.

soosh21 - sleepy rocking chair

i'm particular to bass. i guess i could dig this driving through the country with the windows down or something but its cold where i am and right now its just not my thing.

Hans Blix - Dubstep New

thats totally dubstep. even with the giant trance orchestal hits. i kind of want to hear the original now. the remix is pretty good, that vocal gets annoying after a while though.

ImMortal - ImMortal Meets Jud Dub

awesome. im gonna keep listening to your tracks. seriously. i want to bust out into ragga vocals on this one.

Depone - Wishing on

the vocals arent pitched to the tune quite yet. i like the lead sax, the background grind is nice. snare needs some work to fit the nastiness i assume is coming.

collective - checkingout

for laughs? i wanna hear what you write when you're not joking then. this shit is hot.

Deadly Habit - fried chicken

it's wobbly but gets boring after a while cause that's all it does. the ambient pads from the beginning never come back, even though the bass jumps around alot the variety just kind of disappears.

Krusade - [CURRENT PROJECT]

this does very nice things, want more.

TheRZBM - Dead or Alive

you really like that wobble. that last rood buoy track of yours you posted here used it too. vocal sample rocks. i actually like the off key ambience in the background. gonna say the same thing i said about rood buoy though, "its interesting for a while then it gets repetetive. switching up bass sounds, playing around in the higher range, changing the beat up, all make a dubstep track exciting to listen to."

Slug 85 - seeeeeeeemmmmmmm new version

try coming up with a different melody in the same key, that helps come up with variations alot. try switching up the drums or the bass sound, adding variations on the 4s' and 8's, dropping out sounds, adding in sounds. all these help with inspiration.

Rosco:

the drums hit nice and hard, everything is nice and loud. the bass makes my speakers bang, i got nothing to add to it, other than finish this bad boy off.

fuzz_2k:

it just keeps doing the same thing. its like a long intro that never gets to the drop. i mean its good, just not for that long. i was waiting for dirty bassiness that never came in.

Never get round to finishing a track in a day, this is almost done, needs some rises and some more tweaking but i'm fairly happy with it.

I like the percussion in this, it has a Jungle flavour, the beginning arp that goes throughout the track makes the track I think, wanna hear it with vocals now. Also, I just checked out your Asher Roth remix, pretty good too!
