I like it, it's different. I remember Kode saying on the radio that Burial used to send him these 20 minute snippets he'd produce, then Kode would say "Yeah, I like that bit" and Burial would develop it. I get the feeling "Kindred" was them saying "How about we keep this as it is?".
I can see why people might not like it, but I'm a fan.
