1 month till the 2013/14 fixtures are announced.
3 months till it actually starts.
tad confusing isn't it? at least we're not encountering ac or schalke.

I take it most neutrals are pulling for Palace to come up so we get Ian Holloway back on MOTD?

nah not really, surely I'm not the only one who finds his persona really contrived and annoying. I've seen palace twice this year and they're a pretty unpleasant team of divers and cheats (sorry LA Boxer!). Watford on the other hand I feel a bit sorry for seeing as we deprived them of the chance to go up automatically.
Plus troy deeney is a superstar.

You say we are divers and cheats, but a) Troy Deeney was in prison at the start of the season. b) Cardetti & Forriesti (or however you spell his name) are 2 of the dirtiest players Ive seen all season. Admitedly I think Vydra, Cabolah (or however you say his name) and Abdi are all decent players, BUT, none of them are Watford players. These are all loan signings. Unless the Watford owners sell them a load of Udinese players for VERY cheap theyre not going to have a squad next season.

Yeah I agree the whole loan system thing is a bit dodgy and needs sorting out, but it's not the clubs who set the rules and they've played within the rules this season. And yeah i reckon if they go up then they'll probably just be sold all the players pretty cheap. As for Deeney, yeah he was in prison lol but when he used to play for Walsall I went to a few of the games and whenever he didn't play he always came and sat in with the away fans and had a great laugh with us, idk I just never thought he was good enough for the championship but he might even get a league above!
It's not like I have some ingrained hatred of palace, tbh I'm just jealous that leeds are nowhere near wembley and probably won't be for another 5 years (except maybe the league 1 play off final if we're lucky)

Im not moaning at the loan system so much, as what they did was within the rules. However, if promoted theyre not going to have any of their own players, and theyre possibly going to be sold a load of decent players for very cheap, which really isn't within the rules, or at least morally is pretty wrong. Whats the point of having a better team in the Championship that you've got in the PL because there are no rules you can bend, at least the majority of our players are our own.
t a match in January, Arsenal was trouncing visiting West Ham, another London team, which meant that most of the people at Emirates Stadium, their home ground, should have been in a good mood. (The West Ham fans were crammed into such a tiny section that their mood barely counted).
But there was an underlying restlessness, and every time Arsenal did anything wrong, like lose possession of the ball, a portion of the home-club fans began abusing the manager, Arsène Wenger, for not having won any trophies in several years.
One man sitting near me was uttering a torrent of profane anti-Wenger imprecations in a low monotone, in the manner of a psychotic cattle auctioneer narrating a pornographic movie. What was his problem, I asked, given that the team was ahead by four goals?
“He’s effing useless,” the man said (among other things).
lol i think this sums up most arsenal fans.
Tbh its pretty mad that 900,000 tourists come to England just for football matches and some of the passion of some of them who've never been to the places in their lives: like the deaths in Nigeria when Man united played Chelsea in the champions league final. I understand liking teams from abroad and wishing them well but becoming such a of someone you have no geographical or other connection seems a bit odd to me...
