I'd rather people who genuinely want the record to listen to get a fair chance to buy the record at the normal price that the stores set.

Plus the Labels don't gain anything additional by a record selling at 8.99 to somebody who is gonna sell it at 50.00 as opposed to someone buying it at 8.99 to listen to and keep.

I went there. Bare mandem with their professional cameras taking pictures of the queues. Mongers.

I got asked 3 times what I was queuing to see, people around me got asked as well. Nosey fucks.

Did get asked by a homeless if i had a spare £10,000 and then later a charity worker said "could you spare any pennies for charity?" when i said no sorry got no change he came back with "could you spare any notes?". Gotta love the optimism of people in Manchester.
