let me know what you think
oooooOOOOOooo, ill repeat my reaction when you told me you have new tracks on myspace last night: "YESSSSS EVERYONE CHECK EM OUT"
anyway, i'm all over this one!!! Its been awhile!
JFloyd - "Darkside"
props:
+Mista floyd themeDub!!! pro
+intro is definitely suitable, delayed guitar is nice, metallic and ominous
+drop hits you in the face
+nice measure endings!!! this and the automation rounds out the melody nicely
+glad you have classic Mr. Floyd "Giant-machines-coming-to-destroy-you" sounds... classic
+gah your synths are heavenly
advice:
-eh? star wars? okay, well first off you did it like a pro so i cant complain too much, but i hope you're a true fan of the series, because, well its been rinsed quite a few times by many, many people... in fact theres a Reason ReFill dedicated to just that, its sitting in a folder of mine somewhere.. not just that, but the vader-breaths and "lack of faith" samples are pretty much the most used samples in this pack... but you did it better than 80% of those who try, so dont take this to heart... biggups my man on showing em how its done!!
-First drop/riff = Second drop/riff... i want it to get HUGE and bloody by the end!!! i know you can do it, dont hold back on meh!!!
-Now that i think about it, the drops could be slightly more pronounced... i mean you have the rising high freqs but people need to be a little more prepared for such a brutal drop..! Mixing it with the normal flow will make people go

... building it up and preparing them a little will probably make em jump and go insane
-The break in the middle there is a little long, considering its basically a reprise of the intro
overall:
=you left me

, as usual man, im only doing this one because im not even gonna TRY giving you advice on that other track, you're the freakin man and so cool and collected all the time, just too sinister

really, you make it hard for anyone to say anything but "Biggup!!!", well done as usual!!
