I haven't got far enough to judge the story yet tbh but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up agreeing with you. Although I did like some of the game play and visual improvements, the story in 3 didn't come close to the Altair/Ezio story for me. Overall, I'm just really enjoying how immersive and beautiful the world in Black Flag is. Makes me really want to explore and do all the extra side-mission and collectible stuff which is something I really couldn't be arsed with on AC3.

Cant think of many games that have the sand box arcadey style of Crysis (play 1 and 2 ? ). If you want stealth shooters try Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Hitman, Dishonored(I think? haven't played it).

On another note does anyone remember Tenchu: Stealth Assassins ? Can't really remember the gameplay cause I was really young when I had it. All I can remember is the glorious gore  . It also had grappling hooks, ninja stars, grenades. Shit, I think it was pretty good. Even though I was really bad at it. Makes me wish I had my ps1.

Black flag is far better than either 1 or 2 which got stale once the novelty of jumping around town wore off. I never played the third one so not sure about that

Think I might start dead space tonight, I've had all 3 for a while but never played them

Sun Araw is awesome live as well.
Got kind of bored with the game a few hours in though.

Been playing killzone shadow fall. single player seems a bit of a mess but multiplayer looks really fun. gonna give battlefield 4 a try tonight aswell. i have to say tho that l1 n r1 feels really cheap on dual shock 4. other then that it seems slightly better then dual shock 3. ps4 is gonna only get better. looking forward to whats to come.

Yeah, I have my ship and crew. I love the naval combat and swinging on to the incapacitated ship to engage its crew is so much fun. I'm not at the diving bell bit just yet but cannot wait as it looks amazing on all the trailers etc. The most recent things I remember doing is looting that sugar plantation and stealing the Gallion with Blackbeard. I've been doing a lot of exploring, especially at sea... and holy shit.. Ghost ships!? :o

Yeah, the thing I've found really regrettable is that the Altair and gameplay found in the flashback portions of Revelations were completely absent in AC1. Instead it was just a very very repetitive routine with a middle-eastern Assassins who somehow had a sterile american accent . Loved the expansions to the game in 2 but found the free-running really frustrating. Unless there is something waiting around the corner on IV which will really make me hate the game, my favorites are currently Black Flag & Revelations.

I used all my revivals straight away and have no idea how to get more lool.}}. I've also been playing Killzone: Shadow Fall and AC IV: Black Flag.

I'm already having a hard time with Killzone which isn't surprising considering that the only first person shooter I can currently think of which I've liked and been half decent at is Bioshock. Its visually stunning but I haven't progressed very far mostly due to me dying every couple of second from, well, everything! I'm constantly finding new ways to die and the console has decided to save a 14 minute video of me dying repeatedly without my knowledge which I could probably upload if anyone wants a good laugh . Its pretty cool so far (the first killzone game I've played).

Black Flag is more familiar territory for me and, despite what I've heard so far, I'm really liking it. Visually its beautiful and I've so far found free running and combat incredibly fluent on a level that hasn't been present in any of the previous games. The map is huge and I can't wait to start exploring more. :)
I also play Warframe, been playing it since about April 2013, but took a short break after 2 or 3 months and missed out on the events over the summer. I've been rolling Excal for all my time, but I've gone through many weapons. I'm planning to join Warbros, /vg/'s Warframe clan because I want to join a strong and established clan, but the recruitment process is kinda outrageous. :6: I'm in need of some slot spaces, so I might buy a couple bucks worth of platinum because I got a 50% off plat reward log in.

BTW, never spend plat on revives or mod packs. Ever.

I really cannot wait for this either! Apparently its scheduled for a spring release, hopefully March. I'm also looking forward to Destiny.. I didn't like the Ps3's lack of this kind of multiplayer co-op game.

I've only just started playing since I got my Ps4. I feel that I've improved a lot and so far I've only purchased one weapon (that Braton gun with the faster fire rate than the gun I started out with). My Warframe is only level 10 at the moment.
I picked Loki because of the stealth without even looking much at the other options.. This is something I now regret :(.
