I haven't got far enough to judge the story yet tbh but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up agreeing with you. Although I did like some of the game play and visual improvements, the story in 3 didn't come close to the Altair/Ezio story for me. Overall, I'm just really enjoying how immersive and beautiful the world in Black Flag is. Makes me really want to explore and do all the extra side-mission and collectible stuff which is something I really couldn't be arsed with on AC3.ehbrums1 wrote:Black flag was better than 3 but still worse than any of the Ezio trilogy IMO.

Sun Araw is awesome live as well.Electric_Head wrote:I picked it up on a steam a while back as well.
Mindless fun with a great soundtrack.

Yeah, the thing I've found really regrettable is that the Altair and gameplay found in the flashback portions of Revelations were completely absent in AC1. Instead it was just a very very repetitive routine with a middle-eastern Assassins who somehow had a sterile american accentsouthstar wrote:Black flag is far better than either 1 or 2 which got stale once the novelty of jumping around town wore off. I never played the third one so not sure about that

I also play Warframe, been playing it since about April 2013, but took a short break after 2 or 3 months and missed out on the events over the summer. I've been rolling Excal for all my time, but I've gone through many weapons. I'm planning to join Warbros, /vg/'s Warframe clan because I want to join a strong and established clan, but the recruitment process is kinda outrageous.TheIntrospectionist wrote:At this very moment I'm playing Warframe which is pretty damn addictive although its frustrating to make loads of progress in a mission before dying right at the end which means you have to leave, go to the menu, and select/enter the mission again from the beginning {{EDIT: This was due to me not paying attention to the tutorial where the revival thing was explained to me. I used all my revivals straight away and have no idea how to get more lool.}}. I've also been playing Killzone: Shadow Fall and AC IV: Black Flag.
I'm already having a hard time with Killzone which isn't surprising considering that the only first person shooter I can currently think of which I've liked and been half decent at is Bioshock. Its visually stunning but I haven't progressed very far mostly due to me dying every couple of second from, well, everything! I'm constantly finding new ways to die and the console has decided to save a 14 minute video of me dying repeatedly without my knowledge which I could probably upload if anyone wants a good laugh. Its pretty cool so far (the first killzone game I've played).
Black Flag is more familiar territory for me and, despite what I've heard so far, I'm really liking it. Visually its beautiful and I've so far found free running and combat incredibly fluent on a level that hasn't been present in any of the previous games. The map is huge and I can't wait to start exploring more.
I really cannot wait for this either! Apparently its scheduled for a spring release, hopefully March. I'm also looking forward to Destiny.. I didn't like the Ps3's lack of this kind of multiplayer co-op game.therapist wrote:FFS is Watchdogs ever coming out? I can't even be arsed to finish GTA, I want this. I've only just started playing since I got my Ps4. I feel that I've improved a lot and so far I've only purchased one weapon (that Braton gun with the faster fire rate than the gun I started out with). My Warframe is only level 10 at the moment.Doctor Dave wrote:I also play Warframe, been playing it since about April 2013, but took a short break after 2 or 3 months and missed out on the events over the summer. BTW, never spend plat on revives or mod packs. Ever.
