This so much. I'm happy for them that they're happy with their kid, but it's not like it's even remotely, objectively special. It's just so annoying to see them become completely oblivious to the fact that the ONLY prerequisite for having a child is having had sex. Parenting is one of lives great pleasures, but why people think that others give a fuck is lost to me. People have given birth and had children for thousands of years, it's nothing ground breaking.

anyone else think this is a little much?The other night I went to see This Is The End in the MUB with some friends. I was expecting it to be kind of a stupid and crude movie, but I definitely wasn't expecting it to have so many persistent rape jokes throughout. What bothered and terrified me even more than the content of the movie was being in a theater full of people who thought the idea of someone getting raped was funny. I felt so unsafe and cried for a long time when I got home. I understand that this isn't really a UNH-specific issue, and I'm kind of half hoping this doesn't actually get posted because of the hateful comments it's gonna get because it's "just a joke" and I "should've expected it." It's not even an issue specific to this particular movie, I still struggle to ask my close friends to stop making rape jokes when playing video games because they don't seem to understand why it's not okay. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Wildcats, please be mindful of your humor, it has a bigger impact than you think. I just want everyone to feel safe and loved on this campus.
