I'm a huge fan of music produced on labels like DMZ, Deep Medi, Hyperdub and Tempa. I own quite the collection of vinyls from all these labels, which I'm very proud of. (:

I also have my own YouTube channel on which I post my favorite tracks, for promotional and entertainment purposes. I do this so that the oldskool sound of dubstep is getting the attention it deserves. You should check my channel out: http://www.youtube.com/bassweightlove (: (If you are a producer yourself, feel free to send me beats so I can listen to them myself and I might even upload them on there!)
Nice tunes on your channel :Q:

Just noticed this thread. I'm 27 years old. Run my own business, but music is my main passion :D Mostly been hanging around the production forum just trying to learn about different aspects of production. I listen to a wide variety of music with metal and electronica (industrial, psytrance, dubstep, etc) being the main genres I'm into these days. Also listen to a variety of blues and rock. I play guitar and am starting to get the hang of my oxygen49 as well for soft synths :D
I try to pull inspiration from everything I listen to and try to shape the sound I'm searching for. Been playing blues and rock on guitar for a while now and decided to move to metal a few months ago. Also, got into recording around the same time. Here's the first attempt at a song I recorded which was more of a heavier rock song https://soundcloud.com/axxessdenied/the ... new-rhythm. I did a cover of one of my favourite death metal songs (https://soundcloud.com/axxessdenied/ope ... n-progress) which was really intense I must say since I wasn't used to playing at around 200bpm and not on a 13+ minute song at that hah! One night I was listening to the Army of Mushroom album and I decided I wanted to stray away from doing metal and try messing around with some electronica and maybe merging some heavy riffs with some awesome trancey / euro-trash / dubby kind of electronica. That's why I'm hanging out around here a bit now. Trying to expand my horizons and learn, because holy fuck there is an assload of shit to learn when it comes to mixing / mastering even something that sounds half decent.

Here are my first two songs in my crusade of finding that combination I've got in my head. Still got a long journey ahead of me :D
