Violated.

...

...

But in a good way. Kind of like being raped but by a clown which kind of takes the edge off, or having cancer but being told by a sexy nurse who has the hots for cancer patients.

Nice Resi samples. Nice production too. Sounds good.

Also @ baaan: nice track, really cool sounds in there, nice and melodic, very good sense of flow and atmosphere. Good production.

Dubsac: Nice bass line progressions. There's a lot of movement in there but it works great. Cool intro and samples too. Your productions great too. :)

As for the one you put up mechs, space at home. Sounding good. Lots of really nice sounds in there. Everything works together really well. It feels weirdly earthy or something. I can't quite put my finger on it. But it sounds nice. Again great production as far as I can tell. Can't say anything bad about it.

Also, thanks to anybody who gave me crit earlier.

Hey dudes,

Just a small bump for my track posted b4.

http://soundcloud.com/olux/shes-gotta-go-1

Lemme know what u think chumps! Olux.

Also some feedback @ dubsac - Cool track dude. I like the sounds of your Bass synth. Clean and neat. I would layer your snare to give it a bit more punch, i usually use 3 snare based samples to get a nice punchy sound. FL studio doesn't have a great selection of nice snare sounds (in my oppinion) so i'd suggest maybe even having a search to see what you can sample :P

KidKwerty - I pretty much loved that first song Ghost Mess.. Until 2:36, The Wobbles didn't really work for me. I like the idea just maybe try a different key or speed?

likin this man, perhaps take some of those hihat patterns from the break n add to the bassy part for some variation/motion that 1/8 note hihats a wee bit boring. sounding good tho otherwise

liking this track, but i felt like it could do with a little fattening, in terms of the drum sounds. i like the ring-mod-ish snare sound you have going, but maybe through in a thicker crack snare under it and see how it sounds. could make it pop a bit more. also i felt like when you have the wobbles going you should lose the xylophone-like voice (though its awesome in the more ambient parts) and replace it with some chords that really cut and accent the wobbles. good first post though man, keep it up!

to be honest the wobbles were sort of an afterthought...i had a bassline lined up for the outro and just decided to wobblify it. def need to widen the low end in that track (although bass obviously isn't the focus) and need to actually automate the wobbles. glad you enjoyed dug it though.

March was a good month: 19 songs. And I think I've got more variety in March than ever before: Latin chant; techno-esque; Southern Gothic; a waltz; song recorded on uke and reentrant-tuned guitar; and songs based off book titles, lines in movies, and local artwork.

I also started trying to do more mulitracking -- nothing too complicated or pristine, just some extra voices and maybe some drums or a few guitar solos. I managed to multitrack about 1/2 to 2/3 of the tunes. I really worked on harmony vox, but I'm still figuring it out.

@ Tek Selekta: i loved your intro, but you really messed with your drums >< they sound totally out of place, like there's hardly any rythm in there... work on that bro.

@Evasion: like posted on soundcloud, awesome wobbles , good buildup . the wobbles are abit quiet for my taste but yeh just get more opinions on that ^^

Finally finished this track, some dirty sounds coming your direction:

Soon as this ghost mess one starts, i can tell the title is perfect =)

0:41- like that bass sound you bring in, fits well
drums are sounding real tight through it all, nice job.
around 1:40- this lead melody thing you bring in is dope, great sounding lead

I'm gunna disagree with what one of the other people said about the wobbles- I think they fit quite well here... I just love wobbles, so that could be it, but I really think the bassline fits nicely.

Dope track man!

Soundcloud Should probably say before you listen, this isn't dub-step. It was my first attempt at drum and bass a while back, and some guy found it and uploaded a version of it to you-tube, I never really liked it personally, but he seemed to. I kept this one pretty well hidden, but iunno, I'm kinda curious to see what you guys think.

Will crit for crit and all that banter as per usual.
