@ponte_ricky very nice work on that percussion man, its got a great groove to it. Nice work all round on this one actually, sub works sits real nice in there and the ambient ghostly vocals (?) sound really good. It's a little repetitive but I think you get away with it. Nice work man.

@reignz I'll molest your soundcloud with comments tonight when I've more time because there's a fair few of your tunes I haven't got to check out yet.

@vitalitydubstep I think you've deffo got the sounds down. It's a little rough sounding to me, those lead parts just grate on me a little. But that might be a personal thing. Other than that there's not much I can say. The pads are nice, the bass sounds are well put together and the over all progression is pretty solid.

@chromaticnz - I love temptations, not a bad word to say, just seriously great vibes.

@JUJU_MAN - Some dark sounds here in the intro... lmao! DUKE NUKEM!!!! You're my new favorite producer... I think I love you...

@ninthy4 this is fucking nasty. Seriously fucking wicked work here man. Well done.

@kaiori breathe. thanks man, yeah perhaps a little repetitive, i might just mess with the automation a little but i dont wanna do a lot to the track now otherwise i'll overmix it and end up ruining the feel haha. really liking the chasing petals, although i felt the wobble bass seemed a little out of place from the rest of the track, it would be a great track on its own.

@reignz. thanks for the feedback, wasnt quite sure what you meant about electric bassline as i've only used sub bass. just listened to your dnb track, its cool tight production i wasnt overly keen on the pads though but thats just personal preference i suppose, felt it could have done with a bit more power to it. although it was more of the melody rather than the sound of it that i wasnt keen on.

@vitality dubstep. i'm not usually keen on wobbly bass kinda stuff, but this is really cool i like how the bassline fits together. maybe the drums could sound a little heavier for that style? im not sure i dont thinks its much of a thing

@Kaori - Wicked wibe, lush melody. Pad sits really nice. Drums are just right, punchy. Maybe add some nice strin work about 16bars in to open it up a little?

@Ninthy4 - Commented on your soundcloud. Massive synths. I'd just spend the time mixing them in with your drums to get the whole thing solid. Wicked sounds though!

Soundcloud is being proper slow today! Took me about 15 minutes just to listen to those two! WIll comment more once its sped up a tad.

@Kaori, i fuckin loved it!!! left you some comment on soundcloud too i mean, the drums just fit the track so well. and then the wobz came in and caught me by surprise! epic tune my man keep it up!

@Rhek, i like this track a ton! i loved how that bass panned from right to left. just felt like it added a whole new dimension to the track! overall you got a great sound!

@Russian-Dub, not usually my type of track but you incorporated a lot of different sounds together and made them fit nicely. very nice synths. i like your use of panning on the hi hats too

@Brownz, the dark tune had a good intro with nice sounds. has a robotic feel to it. sub bass hit nice and deep like it should the second one had an awesome intro as well! i loved how the plucks, strings and vocals all came together on that one. the drum pattern itself was really good too. i like the little reverse hihat you put in there. when the lead synth started getting heavier, it reminded me of a joker track.

- Rhek : nice man, only thing i'd say is that some of the synths aint flowing together too well, and you need to put a fatter sub in there, i can hardly hear any. Maybe also do something with your drums , more than the standard 1 3 kick snare pattern

- Brownz : liking both tracks as said before, 2nd track reminded me of 2unlimited - no limit bassline

- zonetrooper: not fully digging those 2 tracks you posted but the one in your sig is nice & deep man, feeling that one when ur main part kicks in

- Ratrace: can't find that page, i'll keep an eye out when it's back up

@reignz: holy shit. bass drum is heavy as fuck! and that drop made me shit my pants a little bit. only complaint: it's too damn short! i'd love to see this turn into a full length track.


there's not much else to crit on this page since the majority of the posters didn't even leave crits themselves (......), but i'll leave some more once more stuff gets posted.

i'm really new to music production, but here's my latest attempt, which happens to be my fourth time producing anything. i'm really just trying to soak everything in and learn as much as possible at this point, but i'd really appreciate any feedback! thanks guys!
