I never read this thread because some stnuc were giving the story away FROM THE BOOKS even though the thread title says HBO which implies *TV series only*
Social media was blowing the fuck up over this latest episode so I had to watch it before anything was given away.
Wow, this is why TV shows and stuff on HBO in particular smash it so much better than films (these days) can - you don't have the same time constraints as a film and so you don't have to stick to the normal, predictable plot-line bollocks.
A lot of people are still in that frame of mind that the 'goodies' will triumph, well, this is GAME of THRONES. If history has taught us anything it's that the 'goodies' don't always win. The ones that win are often the scheming, manipulative, back-stabbing, machiavellian stnuc which is why i've said from early on

I honestly hope Brutus from HBO's 'Rome' is OK. He's a solid actor and it would be a bit of a waste if that was the end for him..

I thought the same thing when I saw the guards throat-slit. Exactly the same as the Harrenhal escape.

I guess it was supposed to be shocking, was just quite funny. Throat slit fest 2013.
This has to be now one of the silliest TV shows. It's like these books were written with a kid with Autism b2b ADD

actually in the books its much worse... later they cut greywind's head off and sew it onto robb stark's headless corpse. i also remember catelyn killing walder frey's kin much more brutally.. i thought i remembered scraping and clawing at the throat..
the most important thing is that robb does not have an heir. the baby stabbing was pretty brutal. in the books though, it was never told that his wife was pregnant, but this was martin confirming that robb had no heir.

The show did a really poor job with his character development in comparison to the books.
