Are you playing rush? Rush is the only game mode where you actually see the whole map. Caspian border and Dana and peak are the shit! I don't really like Tehran highway or grand bazaar. Sienne crossing is ok but that map is fucking hard.

I play CQ and Rush. Seine Crossing is quite nice tbh, quite hard too and Operation Metro on CQ/Rush with 64 players feel like Quake or Unreal. Everybody's just nuking the shit out while lying above the stairways.

Caspian border is probably the most annoying map, esp. on Rush. lol

guess your coming from a diff pespective though, i play with 24 ppl on a map!

Anyone having trouble connecting to Rush servers these days? (xbox)

Caspain Border the most annoying map? I'd say its the best map, its definitely one of the most 'Battlefield' along with Firestorm and Kharg. Agreed with the stuff about crowded maps, but I find that with any game of rush even on 24p. Everyone just spams the objectives and one team always dominates. Never have much fun in rush

yeah I know most people really like CP but I just can't get around...
I do like Seine Crossing and Kharg Island, especially the latter is what BF is all about I think. Really looking fwd to gulf of oman, probably my fav bf2 map!

yessir, im on 360 as well and its SICK. I love wake island, but the jet that can hover, theres level 50s with all the upgrades absolutley owning everyone its kind of annoying, so im jus playin tdm at the moment. the new guns are pretty cool, havent unlocked one yet but from picking them up. It looks like theres maybe 20 new guns?? that i THINK are available for the whole game (all maps), from what i read. and the new conquest assault mode is cool.

i'm still on bc2 as much as i'd love to play bf3 fuck ea and origin

Loving the new maps at the moment and I think conquest assault is decent once you get used to it. My only gripe with b2k is that there seems to be some glitchy shit happening with the weapon unlocks. All guns come with a 12x scope once unlocked and I don't know what the fuck is going on with the QBU-88. Unlocked that yesterday and when equipped matey boy holds the gun above his head for some reason and you cant use the scope. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm on ps3.

havent unlocked any new ones yet, i dont get how it works, cause you cant look at the unlock status cause they make it all secret at the end of the round, it just goes by its own bar or something? not along with your normal class score?

Nah you have to look at your Assignments on Battelog. I agree its pretty stupid not telling you HOW exactly you're making progress in the post-game screen, but its all there on Battlelog.

As for the new maps, I think they're the best in the game. In terms of gameplay, visuals and realism they're all tops. Like, the vanilla maps have a lot of random empty rooms and they're a bit cramped, but the new ones fix all that. I walked into an apartment building in Strike At Karkand and was actually blown away by the level of detail in each room. Scale and gameplay-wise they all feel a lot more 'Battlefield', a feeling which I think only Kharg Island, Caspian Border and Firestorm achieved in the original map rotation. Wondering how I'm ever gonna go back to them now...

yeah i was like WHAT THE FUCK , when i saw the rooms were actually decorated. me and gnome are playin right now

Not feeling the Conquest Assault mode at all, way to unbalanced or i just keep getting stuck with noob ass teams...

Loving the new maps though..bringing back memories of BF2. Just brought Skyrim so think ill be giving BF3 a decent break..getting a bit sick of all the ubers out there that have nothing better to do with there time then play constantly and own everyone

Yeah I agree to some extent, I think they should let us play regular conquest on those maps

If you choose regular conquest for the new maps you get it...for about 3 maps then it changes back to conquest assault..

Feel alot of stuff is still broken after this latest patch

At least they nerfd the thermal scopes, they arent as powerful as before.
