Fucking hell. Such a bad move. Grayson was doing a great job with the squad he had and the fact he was having to sell everyone off.
For ages I thought Bates was not turning out as I had feared he would but he is now living up to his reputation

Oxlade-Chaimberlain looks quality, already better than Walcott

Not a difficult achievement...
L**ds sacking Grayson is quite hilarious, they were in the playoffs a month ago. What do they expect when they sell their best players and don't replace them?

Whilst I agree with the statement, I have to state that Walcott hasn't had Sagna behind him for
the extended period of his shiteness in form. I don't think that is a coincidence. Walcott has NO
apparent defensive abilities.
Also, he was the guy that set up 3 of 7 yesterday and almost netted himself.
What I will say is - He doesn't warrant a £80k p/w paycheque. £60k, yes.

Should be a good battle for that 4th place now, all 4 teams are within a few points of each other. Chelsea still favorites for me

That Arsenal performance was sublime, even though Blackburn were shit. Oxlade-Chamberlain for the Euros, pleeeeease!

yeah this would be massively exciting BUT for the sake of long term and sensibleness and for arsenal is it really a good idea? Over hyping his own, currently very humble, expectations of himself? Theo Walcott has definitely struggled mentally over the years, and maybe his far too premature call up sowed that seed of over-expectation in him...
still, it would deffo be sick

Whoever Capello picks I'd be surprised if England get out of their group

the reason walcott failed is cos they didnt keep giving him england games, man scored a hat trick on his debut, then got left out of the next 5 games. thats why his confidence took a knock imo...

Walcott is a confidence player, probably more than anyone ive seen. Since Arsenal stopped winning games his form has been shocking.
Doesnt help that he gets played out of position. He's never been a winger and never will be

THIS
You can't pick someone and then not play them... the World Cup debacles were ridiculous. Pick him then don't play him because of lack of experience and then once he's got the experience don't pick him. No wonder he struggles with confidence... he spent his teenage years being told he was going to be a star of Beckham proportions only to get forgotten about.
I don't get this whole "He's too young" stuff with new England players, tbh... if you can play a Premiership game for one of the top 5 teams every week, then you can manage the odd International... it's the same game, afterall! He's probably at peak fitness for his entire life at the moment, too... I wish I still had the energy of a fucking teenager... it's all downhill from there, no matter who you are!

at least walcott CAN be sick, game changing-ly sick. Rather that than someone who is consistently average
250 mins of premier league football = too early for talk of england call ups
