Always find it particularly frustrating when people quote TV shows. If I had a nickel for every time I heard "legen...... wait for it.... dairy!!" I could probably pay all my tuition....

Actually pretty much anytime someone quotes How I Met Your Mother I get a bit pissy.

also some of the phrases in this thread are amazing, i've never heard 'in there like swimwear' i'm definitely gonna incorporate these into my arsenal of bad phrases

at work we do health checks with clients

'emphysema' DOES NOT HAVE AN 'I' BEFORE THE 'A'

'polyposis coli' does not have a 'of the' before the 'coli' unless you're saying 'of the colon' !!!

'like for like basis' does not have 'z' at the end of it

'multiple sclerosis' has an audible 'c' in it!!
