Re: The 'help me make this sound!' thread
heeeeey guuuuuuys
oh man, im almost scared to ask...
but recently i've become obsessed with that trademark, modded classic reesey synth that the Bloody Beetroots are known for
you know the one.
in case you've been under a rock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wKFpByU7DA
please help!! i can get the reese, but how do i go about it making it slide like that? i've been pulling my hair out because Reason4 is tedious enough as it is...
cheers

I am currently making a dirty grimey track with a "datsicky" feel to it. The into is a war seen, and i am looking to have a big bomb explosion. I am using ableton 8 and wondering if u guys had any suggestions of how to make a fatt explosion.
Thank you!!!

Re: The 'help me make this sound!' thread
Hey guys i would love to know how to get a clean (bubble?) sounding bass. Ive been trying and trying i cant get there. What might be in the recipe to make this delicious sounding bass? Thanks guys much appreciated!

Re: The 'help me make this sound!' thread
Use 1 or 2 sine waves as oscillators, mix em so the high pitched one is a bit louder. Filter modulation, add some resonance.DjTrainWreck wrote:

And a tiny bit of reverberation. I mean tiny.
EDIT: While listening to it again, there could very well be a square wave in there as well. Make sure, you have a perfect square, not a pulse wave.

I'm trying to remake a bass/puking-robot sound as heard at the 0:22 mark of the following video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnVpAEiJ3Mk
I'm using the NI Massive synthesizer. What do?

Search for the thread from last week that was about 'Talking Wobbles' ... I flew into a huge rant on how to make them..MrKoekje wrote:I'm trying to remake a bass/puking-robot sound as heard at the 0:22 mark of the following video:

It's just simple risers with random shit layered on top of it.Dotwonkwonk wrote:Joining the thread!!!
Hoto make sounds like this??

thanks
Riser is just a high pitched sine wave pitch-bending up.The easiest way to do this is by using an envelope (or automate the pitch-wheel). On top of the sine wave you want a noise oscillator generating white noise, and filter sweeping it up in a HP filter, going from mid to high. (Assign it to the same envelope to "sync" it)
