please help!! i can get the reese, but how do i go about it making it slide like that? i've been pulling my hair out because Reason4 is tedious enough as it is...

ya, i had a feeling it has something to do with mad automation of the pitch/mod wheel... i doubt its the lfo somehow..
good ideas tho, ill try em out, i appreciate your response, you're the man, Jsax! (by the way, i've been rinsing your new mix on soundcloud so hard since you've put it up, much love on that)
YES!! very close to what i was looking for...! i think i can figure it out from here, biggup! had been looking for "Dominator" synth, which resulted in a million trillion useless results
can get the woble, must be some gully effect i dont know about
definitely a formant filter involved in this sound, somehow... very hard to get a vowel sound like that without one

Use 1 or 2 sine waves as oscillators, mix em so the high pitched one is a bit louder. Filter modulation, add some resonance.
And a tiny bit of reverberation. I mean tiny.
EDIT: While listening to it again, there could very well be a square wave in there as well. Make sure, you have a perfect square, not a pulse wave.

I'm trying to remake a bass/puking-robot sound as heard at the 0:22 mark of the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnVpAEiJ3Mk
I'm using the NI Massive synthesizer. What do?

Search for the thread from last week that was about 'Talking Wobbles' ... I flew into a huge rant on how to make them..
It's just simple risers with random shit layered on top of it.
Riser is just a high pitched sine wave pitch-bending up.The easiest way to do this is by using an envelope (or automate the pitch-wheel). On top of the sine wave you want a noise oscillator generating white noise, and filter sweeping it up in a HP filter, going from mid to high. (Assign it to the same envelope to "sync" it)
