Thought it was pretty good. I would look into some EQ on the drums and synths. On the drums i would EQ to bring them more in your face (that snare has some unnecessary bass, a littttle compression doesnt hurt either) try a hi pass while leaving some mids (around 100hz), as well as adding an underlying kick so the snare can really HIT you know? As for the synths/bass, boost up the mids a smidgen to bring out its full potential. Hope this was some help, other than that dope tune man! cant wait to hear the final product!

Thanks mate. Yeah i think im a little over cautious with eq. Definately agree with what you say about the drums though, nowhere near in your face enough. Will boost the mids as well on the synths and see how it sounds. Thanks for your feedback mate, really appreciate it

No problem man, dont be afraid to experiment you know? the EQ setup does look daunting but just start turnin knobs and seeing what each thing does, sooner or later you'll get the hang of it. also, theres tons of EQ help online (what frequencies to what instrument/sound, etc..) bigup, ill find you on soundcloud...
new tunes feedback would be appreciated

A lot of good stuff up here at the moment. Rather intimidating.
Just started making this this evening and have struck a barrier. Should I bother trying to overcome it?

For a first track it sounds really good man. i would clean up the mastering on the vocals and drop the reverb a little bit but thats just me. Overall great work for a starting producer, sounds nice and pro ( i need to check out sony acid pro)
keep it up man!
Ok this is a track i started at like 2am last night, i know it needs a lot of work still, im gonna completely redo the percussion with a heavier snare and maybe take a little delay off some of the hats but any advice welcomed!

Not bad for 2/3 hour tune? or however long you spent on it. Definitely needs some better percussion, with more "shuffle" to it. All to often (and im guilty of this as well) people have the tendency to make the percussion similar to a hip hop song, which isnt bad if the other elements keep the "shuffley" feel to it, but remember dubstep is very much sample based (samples from drum n bass most often) so the percussion must be very fast, especially on a track such as this. Definitely work on fattening up the bass, making it more liquid and some EQ work should have you sitting right. The structure is nice, and the overall flow is a good starting point, i cant wait to hear the end result! bigups.
Word man, yaeh i spent like 2 hours on it haha, needs alot of time and yeah you called me out perfectly on the hip hop percussion. Its so easy to throw that in real quick and end up messin with the wobble and then i never end up goin back

pretty good for your first remix/track. the kick isnt punchy enough for me and the snare could use something else too imo, perhaps another snare layered would do the trick. i dunno thought im new to producing too. here is a work in progress im working on.

not bad, only thing, it sounds like a really long intro, maybe some builds? also would work on cleaning up the higher db's although the kick and bass do mesh pretty well.
