there's actually a couple of dj:s i rate very highly who've played my stuff on the radio on several occasions. it's amazing to hear your stuff on the radio but don't really see the point in the whole ripping and uploading thing.. except probably if the dj who selected the track was some super super super well known and respected but then again at that point if that happens chances are u don't need to do that shit anymore cause they already know u

safe. i've seen guys like Biome, Aslyum, etc do that. I think the main reason they do it is not for 'bragging rights' or anything. It's cause many listeners don't give a shit about audio quality and are willing to just listen to a 128 kbps rip off sc, so if they upload the whole tune, then none of those people will buy the song, but if they upload a rip, and it's only 1-3 mins long, then those listeners who are less audiotech-savvy will be more likely to buy the release because they won't be satisfied with a 1 minute 30 second rip that has an MC talking over it.
