Zane Lowe is such a fucking banger

The reload at 9:08 :corncry: :corncry:

Considering Radio 1 has quite a few good interesting electronic music shows, the dance music night on the Friday night of the big weekend in Glasgow was fucking shocking

Is like thinking the only way to stop the cold war was to destroy all nuclear weapons

Neither of those things will/did ever happen

So.... lets find another solution to the problem :)

Nah, lets get on facebook and whine about making guns illegal, thatll work fine for now
not the only way to stop shootings - obviously there would still be illegal guns on the street, and thus shootings, but limiting gun access (making them illegal) would clearly help. to keep with your analogy, that's like saying that nuclear arms reduction agreements did not help stop the cold war.

this. The only thing I really support when it comes to gun regulation is background checks to prevent the mentality ill and violent criminals from having access to guns. Allowing the state to have a monopoly on gun power is a recipe for state oppression.

Its a logistics thing

How could you possibly do that

by just making them illegal? like an amendment to the constitution that changes the 2nd amendment.

sure there will still be gun violence, but obviously much less. and say hypothetically it would have no effect on gun violence - there is no downside to making guns illegal, and no opportunity cost of doing so, so there's no reason to not do it.

if you were to somehow magically get a bill through to ban firearms, then good fucking luck telling Billy Bob Cousinfucker in West Virginia that the government is taking his AR15

i see this state oppression rhetoric gettin thrown around a lot by #muricans

like what do u all think is gonna happen? the government is gonna do something slightly naughty and the population of america are gonna rise up with their 3D printed assault rifles and overthrow the government?

the US government has been committing atrocities for bare time and no one bats an eyelid lol

except that occupy movement, that was quite good, shame it got infiltrated by police etc and forcibly turned into violent protest

Just zoomed out in my browser and noticed the Twitter and FB buttons.
Shouldn't those be visible at 100%?

lol if you think that I'm an #murican.
If the people can't rise up to change the government, then what prevents the government from taking complete control? morals? I don't think so. My own government has shown time and time again that it has no regard for the people of other counties. (see Salvador Allende and Chile during the 70's.) Why would it care for what the people of the U.S. think? votes don't matter anymore. The propaganda of the media keeps the sheep in line so that isn't a problem. While we should do something about our gun problem, the solution shouldn't be to take away the freedoms of all citizens.
