yeah gareth to be honest I don't listen through a whole lot of mixes but that solace mix was awesome, i don't listen to enough of that type of music but I really want to get into it after your mix, I always like most of the stuff I hear on the blog but I'm just too lazy to pursue it haha

Best new label was a hard one for me, cos I rate Peng Sound, Bandulu and Egyptian Avenue, but they've all only released one release (Obviously fucking A* material though).

Sullen Tone took it for me, 4 (?) absolutely stunning pieces with amazing artwork too.

Goth-Trad - New Epoch for sure. Dubstep that doesn't bore me to tears. Sullen Tone for their artwork and Old Apparatus is really refreshing. Best show was Swamp 81, because that's the closest thing to Norwood Soul Patrol. Kahn, because of that Percy tune and all the other grime type tracks he has done. New producer is Sleeper, because of that Enter EP that he dropped near the end of the year (plus I didn't really know any of the other people). Skream for DJ, because of the disco and house that he has been playing and those mixes he dropped on soundcloud near the end of 2012. Best track is Kahn - Percy, because I spit some mad bars to that track while in the car. Every thing else I voted 3rd Party.

skream for dj is a bit odd tho tbf lennon especially for the reasons you mention (old sets and disco)

it's just funny to me that he said something about some of the only dubstep that didn't bore him to death and then said his favorite new producer was sleeper

because frankly (IN MY OPINION) sleeper is one of the most borrrrring producers out there

That Enter EP was a bit boring too though. His dubstep is/was better (haven't heard anything from him in months though)

Best mix thing. Their boiler room gig. Like it wasn't the best gig they ever did but I still enjoyed it more than the other mixes I heard in there (pretty much none at all, don't even recognise every name).

Also who thought "dank 'n' dirty dubz" is a good name for a show
