@ascian - fucking quality work mate, your beat fits perfectly when the vocals, i think your right about the tom toms, takes the groove away a bit, but apart from that top top work

ive totoally redone the wip i posted eariler today, made it into a 115bpm house track if your interested, if you leave a comment on the soundcloud link, ill make sure i write you one back!

@Reliq Really like that, super dark, you really got the dungeon feel going there.
@LukeRaith Really like the House version, sounds really nice and warm.
@mattdesl Nice clean top end, production sounds good. Like the synths.

Pretty new to producing, so sorry i couldn't give anymore technical advice.
here's a tech house thing i've been working on today, let me know what you think. I don't have monitors so the mixdown might be terrible, so tell me if anything is horribly wrong. Cheers.
Btw, the track is unfinished. i don't intend it to trail off at the end, i just couldn't be bothered doing anymore today. ;-)

Just to warn you mate, you have to feedback on AT LEAST 3 people before posting a tune for feedback yourself or you probably won't receive any..

Ascian - The thing that happens around 2.16 is a bit weird and should be reconsiderd. But it gets good again after 2.30something.
Otherwise, great tune! Right up my alley!

daeMTHAFKNkim - Nice work, don't really know what to say tho, other than it kinda sounds too much the same the entire song out basicly.

broadus - Nice work on the sample! I feel like throwing some songs at ya for inspiration but i get the feeling you've probably already heard it.

Heres my little wip. I know the bassline needs some work in the melody. But im wondering what i could add synthwise or mabye basswise.

@Alexandercunningham thanks, i'm all ears beacuse it isn't something I would normally produce but I thought the vocal would fit that kind of track perfectly. The more inspiration the better. Your track is sick, love the echoey drum that comes in after the second drop. I think the bassline could do with a bit more movement, maybe something like pangaea - router?

Heres some tunes i think you should go through:
Mount Kimbie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRVwtSmgKP8
Jaqcues Greene - koreless mix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BzzFHpE3y8
xxxy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqAB8kAU ... re=related
T.Williams - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDO9RIIkR3k
Throwing Snow & Py - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsNPCE36 ... re=related

Another thing about your track is that you should reconsider the bassdrum rythm/pattern, its a bit un-original/boring. Kimbie, Koreless and throwing snow are great inspirations for that.

Ah yeah, cheers, that's given me some good ideas. I did think the straight 4 beat made it maybe a little too trancy or cheesy at times if you know what i mean.

@Cubicle: The use of the horn and piano is unique, interesting song

@Sam: I love the vocals, way sick. But I feel like the kick is like to quite at some spots

@Craggle: Solid production, sometimes I feel like the transitions aren't as smooth as others, but I really like it!

Let me know what you think of my song!

elyhess - I love the feel and ideas, i feel like i wanna hear some more upper range but thats just an idea. i like the sounds in the intro but it went by a little fast, i kinda wanted more.

Alexandercunningham - I love the synth at the beginning but i don't think that drum hit fits, but when the other drums come in i love the vibes, Chilean grooves.

lukeraith - it drags along, i think its because the speed. it also sounds like Christmas music. idk not really my style i guess

Tell me what you think of this unfinished tune...

What do you mean about the drum hits? Which part?

Bout your song, other from beeing very good and spot on. The only thing im a bit not as sure about is the drum sound. The sound of the bassdrum and snare. Listen to Cookie Monsta, skream, benga, borgore... etc. More in that direction and i think it will be alot heavier over all.

@orangeapplesauce. dear god wtf is that.

@alexander cunnignham. very nice vibe. not a horrible mix. just need more layering and variation in the drums.

@luke raith, interesting, it reminds me of disney.

boring I would add buildup and drop and try to add more distorted basslines

orangeapplesauce thats really good one, but drop needs sub, or I just dont hear any. and drums need boost in high end.

alexandercunningham nice pad sound, but I thing 50 seconds of intro would be enough, then it needs drop, or something different to change

boman thats like DJblend :D well but I am not into this music so it is difficult to help you. only that I can advice is to variate song a little

I did track in FL studio 8 only, without any plugins, but on cheapy speakers, so in might not sound the same on your speakers...

@boring - nice tune, i like the synth, maybe put a bit of reverb or something on it to make it pop. digging the melody.

@elyhess - solid tune, not exactly into brostep or what have you, but i didn't mind this tune. could use a backing melody though and some work on the snare to bring it on the mix a bit

@alexandercunningham - nice chilled out tune, really dig where it's headed... maybe some volume enveloping on the bass to give it a bit of a groove with the tune? also, around 2:20 the pad seems to over power the rest of the tune a bit

here's my wip

@ drooka- a little dry for my taste but your sound design isn't bad at all. maybe add some more soundcandy to make it less...empty.
@henoo- turn down that bass a bit and get some sub up underneath it, its all mids and highs and work on the automation sync.
@orange applesauce- again, sounds a little empty even after the drop. also work on balancing the sounds so they arent louder than one another. here is my latest WIP

Yeah, some of the bassline riffs sound a bit out of time. The kick/snare is a bit too "in your face" for my tastes. You've got the ingredients for a decent track though Molzie.

This is my first attempt at a reese. I have previously been obsessed with making your typical brostep sounds but trying to move away from this and actually move on with production.

Love to get some tips / suggestions (specifically on the bass) just so I know I am on the right track. I haven't done anything special with the drums, I was more focusing on the bass and couldn't be bothered layering them at this point, they are just EQd and have some parallel compression / reverb.

Anyway let me know what you think :-)
