never liked westwood. always seemed like a bit of a twat, plus he used to play out youtube rips of tunes he couldnt get a hold of (usually grime too)

Bought a pair of decks, mixer, microphone and headphones 2nd hand for £25
Obviously the quality was not going to be great but hey, it was cheap and I am poor.
Mixer turns on but can't get any signal through

Check lack of signal is the case for all channels on all inputs (assuming you've got input selectors, line/phono etc)?

^Yep, checked all that, also checked it wasn't the cables from the decks or anything. I suspect some sort of loose connection inside the mixer, but I son't really know much about electronics so don't want to risk fucking it up. Gonna take it to a repair shop tomorrow.
My uncle used to be a wedding DJ so I've got a big oldschool 80s mixer which I'm using for the moment.
