Isn't it true that weed has less of a health impact than tobacco?

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
depends on the state of ur mental health
* do u mean with ppl getting treated on the nhs or just peoples' health in general??
the size of the tobacco industry and the quantity of cigarttes that people buy makes me dubious though

hmm yeah maybe manOGLemon wrote:I think that if people live longer then the government has more time to tax the individual through other taxes, thus counterbalancing the lack of tobacco tax revenue.bennyfroobs wrote:the government make more money off taxing smoking than they lose via the nhs on smoking related illnesses

I'm sorry Froobydoop but this just isn't true. It must be in how you defined what is 'related'. Because there's too many consequences. Even with the uks quite severe taxation tbh.bennyfroobs wrote:the government make more money off taxing smoking than they lose via the nhs on smoking related illnesses
also anti smoking campaigns are like 99.999999% pointless
i did a dissertation about it

Don't ask a guy producing jungle lol but yeah.
There isn't any direct impact except for slightly irritating/upsetting the air passages and lol I dont know what you call it but
the 'phlegm department' cynises etc.
Oh and fucking about with the bloodsugar might (we are not certain yet) have an effect on cholesterol (maybe even possitive though).

I know that my father's short term memory is shit and I suspect his 35 years of smoking ganja had a play in the matter.
Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
35 years!
Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
No, you don't know that. Because you and me and your dad, isn't neurological geniouses that can discern what long, short or medium memmory is.OGLemon wrote:I know that my father's short term memory is shit and I suspect his 35 years of smoking ganja had a play in the matter.
I know what you mean though ofcourse !
What we can experience is the shift in focus. Because the weed or hash is used to shift that focus and then being present or staying in that focus for long periods of time will make it appear as if that particular brain function has changed.
But it's nothing more severe than getting used to always wear a scarf and feeling slightly chilled without that scarf even when its not needed. Probably not the most applicable example lol.

Re: Post Your Random Thoughts Thread!
I had to stop smoking weed as I was getting incredibly paranoid, had bad moodswings and was generally lazy as fuck all the time.
Then I stopped and it went away. I then gave it a break for years and tried again and it started making me feel fucked again.
