The reason why I say that or try to denote it like that, eventhough I'd wager it's probably true for humans!, is that without our immune system and other things that are part of a human, something as safe as a grape is considered poisonous on a molecular level eventhough it's good for us.
It might be that provoking or infringing upon part of our 'memmory bank' is what gives off the positive effect at the same time?
So in that sence the term focus is imo still more applicable.
