Pretty much everyone I know that smokes all day are the most productive, hard working fuckers I've met. It's the part-time kids that are lazy temperamental shits

My brother smokes to the point he can barely talk with out slurring his words every day and does absolutely fuck all and constantly does the most retarded things

Yeah, I'd hate to be like this, I only tend to smoke it with friends though and very occasionally would I smoke it on my own.

I just treat it the same way I treat booze, I wouldn't sit in my room and get hammered myself so why sit on my own and get high as fuck.

It's weird for people that smoke it everyday, I think I'd find it weird to never be sober. In a way, if you're always high and rarely sober, then being sober would be like a high

I havent smoked weed for two weeks now, and all the pain in my neck and back has returned for the worst. Advil and a535 wont take it away or anything. whats the difference between me smoking a joint every day compared to taking pain medications (or those on antidepressants)? You're still getting high regardless.

Speaking of which the other day I took a t3 because the pain was so bad, and I was going through withdrawls to the extent where I was puking and couldn't eat for damn near 24 hours. I felt super lethargic the whole day too. After ONE pill to go to sleep. It was the worst

You make a good point, if weed is as effective or more so than other pain meds, then I'd say weed was the best option with the lack of withdrawals and much less of a possibility for dependence - codeine's pretty nasty in that respect.

I was talking about weed from a recreational perspective, when it comes to medically, that's a lot different of course. Although you're taking it to get a high (in a sense) the primary objective is pain relief, with getting "stoned" almost a side-effect in a way, which I'd say is entirely different.

u dont get a 'high' off most over the counter pain medication imo

My pains just come from a bunch of injuries I've sustained over the years, 80% probably coming from sports, the rest just from freak accidents (like when I tore my knee meniscus)or my own stupidity lol.

I do agree with the recreational part tho. I know guys that smoke anywhere up to ten grams a day...but in my experience those are usually people who are going through their weed smoking phase, or just have very addictive personalities and know no limits to anything. That is a problem that goes beyond any one drug.
